I had to post this immediately bc it’s so deserving and refreshing to feel like someone actually cares about their job. Lisa Joseph, the branch manager at the East Broadway Rockland Trust location in Southie just went above and beyond to ensure that I had a positive experience. She patiently listened to my concerns and not only provided me with clear and concise information, but literally just took 2.5 hours out of her time to make sure! Not only was Lisa knowledgeable and professional, she also demonstrated a genuine interest in helping me with what would have been a miserable experience dealing with the customer support at Capital one mobile. What impressed me the most was her patience! We got transferred more times than I could count, only to be reintroduced to another Capital One Customer support agent, spell my name, to explain the same $10K fraudulent withdrawal pending in my CHECKING ACCOUNT! Only to be told they ultimately and I quote, “we understood and would be monitoring movement in my account” well that’s reassuring…. Her dedication, expertise, and friendly demeanor truly set her apart. It’s refreshing to see people genuinely care about their customers. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of banking assistance, who leaves the bank smiling and laughing, after being notified of something like that…. I can happily say I just did, your motto is spot on with her as branch manager in the East Broadway location that’s for sure. Thanks again Lisa!!

Long term Manager (Mary), at this branch needs to develop greater customer service skills. Its been my experience that East Boston Savings Bank Fosters a climate of poor customer service within the South Boston area.If as a customer you expect East Boston Savings Bank Manager to address your concerns, you would be let down.At the South Boston location, the East Boston branch's current representatives (Managers) have demonstrated to me that they do not know the meaning of the CUSTOMER SERVICE.I request the highest level of Management contact me for further details.Customers would greatly benefit from the retirement or demotion of bank Managers that people complain about, such as Mary.In this review it is worth mentioning the unprofessional behavior of Jim Galley. He called my house, in short to tell me whatever I had to say regarding the purpose of my visit to the bank is relevant.Because of the above I suggest all potential customer's stay away from East Boston Savings branches in South Boston if they expect quality/friendly banking service.I contacted Richard Sardellitti (Jim's boss) and Richard Gavegnano (Bank President) to express my concerns of Jim's unprofessional actions.

I am a life long resident of South Boston and have been going to this branch for years. Even before when it was under a different name. When the names changed over I was quite concerned that it would loose its identity and not care about the community it serves. I couldn’t been more wrong. The management and staff ALWAYS goes above and beyond for the customers. From the personalize greetings to all to the extra effort they take to service my accounts and requests, things are super great there. I could list the names of all stellar staff there but I would run out of space. This particular branch leaves me feeling better after I leave than before I came in!!! The gold standard of service.

The Charles River Bike Path is a mixed-use path in the Boston, Massachusetts area. It is named after the cardiologist Paul Dudley White, a prominent advocate of preventive medicine. His research led him to proclaim frequently "I'd like to put everybody on bicycles." In 1955 White served as president Eisenhower's cardiologist and prescribed his famous patient bicycle therapy after his 1955 heart attack
