Customer service there is terrible they all have horrible attitudes not Courteous to their customers at all it’s like they have no sort of training or do not care about the quality services they provide to their customers even when speaking with a manager named Judy all I received was disrespecting unprofessionalism from someone who is supposed to be in charge at this establishment. It’s appalling to see how the quality standards at Metro have fallen over the years.

I opened a small account with the plans to move my major banking here. Today I called with a question and called the Newton branch. They then demanded five different pieces of information in order for me to speak to the manager I have had a bank account since 1965. I have never had to be vetted in order to speak to a manager. I called corporate and was told the same. I don't need to be with a bank that vets you before you're allowed to talk to a manager. I do not recommend this bank for any reason. If an already existing customer can't speak to a manager then I suggest their customer service is not going to be any good. Yikes!

A bank that makes up it's own rules contrary to Federal law. You never know what you will get when you get there... Yes, that's right. Thumbs down.

This review concerns their online billpay website. It's basically unusable and their customer service staff are unable to figure out why. Absolutely ridiculous that they can't figure out such a basic thing in this day and age.

It is probably good for basic banking. However, putting a significant amount of money into their High Yield Savings is problematic. They keep raising the interest rates for new accounts and you are left behind in whatever deal you made with them. The only folks who get the new higher rate are folks who open new accounts. I just moved over $200K from Metro to Ally which increases the rate automatically when the Feds go up.

I started to open an account here and closed it immediately. Even after I closed it, they proceeded to transfer all of the money from my former bank account. I had to wait 5 business days to have my funds released. I did not trust them to return it to my original account or send me a check, so I went into the branch and had to take my savings and checking account balances home in cash (and of course they didn't have $100s). They're crooks. Stay away from them. As an aside, my employer recommends them as a partner institution. They are in the process of terminating their relationship with Metro Credit Union.
