I had the best customer service at the cashier. I regret that I didn’t ask the staff’s name.

I would give 5 stars to Alisa. Yesterday I went to Prudential and decided to see what this store had to offer. When I walked in I was greeted by Alisa and she was very helpful. She also explained to me new items as a new shampoo and hand creams. I decided to buy the shower oil and additional she gave me a bunch of samples with my purchase. I will be definitely going back into to purchase different stuff.Alisa you’re the best.

In life sometimes you discover things when not looking, and my path to L’Occitane was a classic example of just such an encounter.
On a recent visit to the Prudential Mall, I sauntered into the store on a whim, not anticipating to buy anything. That mindset changed fairly quickly when I experienced the amazing fragrances and the variety of applications that were on hand. But that transformation was no accident, because Alisa who was minding the store, very adroitly guided me through the various products and offerings. Her knowledge and zeal was a great motivating factor and I ended up with the delightfully fragrant Almond oil and Japanese Cherry Blossom soap and cream. Alisa deserves credit in how she gives attention to customers and certainly in my case was a big factor in getting me on board as a satisfied and repeat customer.
If you are looking for a nice gift or something to pamper yourself, this store deserves a visit, and you may just find that most alluring scent that is irresistible.
Update: I had the occasion to recently visit the L’Occitane store at the Markville Mall in a Toronto suburb. I was equally pleased with the presentation and the ambiance, but more importantly with yet another great customer service experience. Yolanda Au was outstanding in helping me and other customers with the purchase, and her cheerful demeanor was a delight to be around. Yet another successful visit with a brand that I just recently got acquainted with.

I was treated really rudely at this store. The staff not only racially discriminated against the moment I walked in the store, she told me to leave because I “looked underaged” and that they do not sell to “underaged people”. The dark skin female staff, with sort of fluffy black hair that was tied up, in question not only took her name tag off before walking towards me but also gave me a disgusted type of look at me. Keep in mind all the other staffs in the store had their name tags on. I have been to this store before and was treated with respect that a customer deserves but not this time. I was looking at the hand creams and was going to try one of them on, the sample cream had a sign on it that said “try on” or “try me”, and the staff in question walked over and rudely told me that “only customers are allowed to try the sample hand creams.” The female staff profiled as a poor person and was adamant that I would not be purchasing anything because I was poor. I came to L’occitane specifically for their face wash as I have used it and quite liked it. I had go through this horrendous interaction just to buy my face wash. When I bought the product, a different staff who seemed to be white also gave me this disgusted look at me and did not give me a receipt for my purchase, even when I asked for the receipt. After buying the face wash I wanted to look at a couple other products, the same dark skin female staff came up to me and rudely told me that they were closing and kicked me out of the store. I came into the store at around 4pm and was there for maybe 15minutes max, on google the store says that they close at 8pm. With this interaction today, I would like to advise all other customers of this establishment to go a different L’occitane such as the one in Natick, until the store handles this situation. These remarks made by the female staff in question is inappropriate and should be handled asap, as this is harming the company’s image. It would be stupid of the store to take this matter seriously as you are losing customers because of untrained staff, thank you.

I had an experience with L’Occitane that I would like to share in this review . I have been ordering from this company for 15 years. I send gifts to people and I buy things for myself. I used to go to a local store in Rhode Island but that store closed so I was approached by the incredible sales staff at the Prudential location in Boston. I have been ordering directly through them and the staff is amazing! I have dealt with Victoria, Zachary, Jen, and Steven. Recently when they had their most recent sale I wanted to get a product that they did not have in the store so I made the very poor decision of ordering through the one 800 number. I ordered about $180 worth of products because of the sale and it was a little splurge for me. Upon check out I noticed that one of the addresses that I’ve sent gifts to it defaulted to so I changed that and I thought it was all set. Today I received a text from a friend of mine in Italy and she told me that she had gotten this big package from me and she wanted to know if it was a mistake. I told her it was that It was supposed to come to me and I called L’Occitane to see if they would pick it up and resend it to me and I would pay for the shipping. They told me there was absolutely nothing they could do for me that it was my problem and I had to figure it out. I decided to call the Boston Prudential store and I had the tremendous good fortune to have Zachary answer the telephone. He actually remembered me from prior orders and conversations because he also was from Rhode Island! Within five minutes Zachary turned it into one of the most beautiful experiences by resending to me the package again free of charge and letting my friend keep the original package! There is so much kindness, and thoughtfulness that exists in that little network of people in that store they have found a lifelong customer in me and I will recommend them to everyone that is looking for these products. Please give a pat on the back to Zachary because he is an exceptional employee! Best wishes, Pat

I went to buy a specific cologne for men. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You won't find this line in department stores.

My armpits were banging with funky stench after I roughed up some punks who were acting like jive turkeys. They were lighting paper lunch bags full of hipster dog p*** on fire and watching the suckas stomp them out with their pointy Aldo shoes. Hysterical, I know, but I had to ugly them up. So, because I was ripe with nasty body odor, I swung into my favorite store of all time. The place I love. The place I dream about. Viva la L'Occitane le bon bon Paris et Champagne, je nes pa! I walked in with a huge list of soaps, shave creams, shampoo and a new travel soap tin with my big trips to Detroit on my mind. I was jonesing for some Shea Butter lavender 3.5 ounce soaps to make my day! "Excuse me Sir, to shop here you must put on your obedience mask." "But, you sweet honey buns and righteous stone fox, why? There's no mask mandate here, the doors are wide open, you obviously don't care about the climate because you just waste energy like you're Mr. Monopoly, you have a mask on, I'm vaccinated and I had Covid when I was in China cleaning the clocks of those pirates because of what they did. And you want me to wear a mask in order to buy this overpriced boiled fat?" "Oui." "Makes no sense snow bunny." "To me it does!" I said, "So then, why is your store empty?" The cosmopolitan hottie in Crocs and a Superdry sweatsuit said, "Because people are safe here!" "No, you Frenchie Bozo, it's because your ridiculous policy makes no one want want to be your customer now!" "Bon ci bon, Viva la France, you L'Americains are so ignorant, no wonder why we French don't really even like you people." "Are you even French?" "Non, or nil." "I pity da fools who come here now, nineteen dollar boiled fat, my derrière!"
