Laura Preshong were wonderful when choosing my engagement ring with my husband. The whole team were very communicative, friendly, and spent a lot of time educating us about diamonds. The whole experience was very enjoyable and highly recommend. All of their rings are absolutely stunning and it's a pleasure to own one.

Our experience here was amazing! We went in as a couple and I had previously been ring shopping with my older brother when he was shopping for his now wife. Our ring buying experiences were completely different. At Laura Preshong, we worked with 2 wonderful sales people that walked us through and explained throughly what we would be buying, what impacts the price of a diamond, and what the pros and cons of each setting would be as well as the 4Cs. They stayed within our budget and were not pushy at all - unlike when I went with my older brother to a different jeweler. The amount of compliments on my ring - even people I wouldn’t expect are texting me outside of regular congratulations to ask where we got it and what they can search for! Truly a dream to work with!

Could not recommend this place more if I tried!! My fiancee and I were looking for a queer friendly jewelry store and we absolutely found that in Laura Preshong. The process could not have been easier and the staff could not be more kind. Thank you for making this process incredible and for making my beautiful ring! I cannot stop staring at it :)

I highly recommend Laura Preshong, this was the easiest process for buying an engagement ring. My fiancé and I went to look at rings in the winter and it was easy, no pressure at all to buy anything. They explained everything to us and got my ring size. It was perfect for two people who don’t know much about jewelry, and we didn’t feel out of place at all. When my fiancé bought the ring he said it was a very easy process and it is absolutely gorgeous. It’s even better than I expected. It also feels great I know I can give them a call or go in if I have questions or concerns versus a large chain store where it doesn’t feel as personal. Highly recommend!!!

I had the most positive experience trying on rings at Laura Preshong! I worked with Jamie, who was so pleasant to interact with and really prepared for our appointment. When we arrived she had all the styles I liked ready for me to try on. As we went through and my favorites began to emerge- she pulled additional rings I hadn't considered which I LOVED. The team was really informative and not pushy at all, which I appreciated given how daunting the process of choosing a ring can seem. They also walked me through how to use the diamond database tool on their website which I found so helpful. When we are ready to buy I am very interested in coming back to Laura!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience buying an engagement ring here. The store offers a limited number of their own ring styles which you customize with your choice of stone. I booked a 45m appointment to pick out a ring with my partner, and Joe made it a lot of fun and gave a great explanation of our options. We felt no pressure at all to buy here, but we saw no reason to look elsewhere.

Cannot recommend here enough! We had a wonderful, pressure-free experience while ring shopping here. Joe was lovely — very helpful and communicative. They have a beautiful selection of elegant, low-set/profile rings which is exactly what I was looking for. They want what is best for the customer, not just the sale. Will definitely be recommending to others!

From beginning to end, my experience with Laura Preshong was incredible. I wanted to make a custom ring and the team knocked it out of the park. Terrific service both in the shop and through email. I purchased an engagement ring from Laura Preshong in July 2022. I was extremely happy with my experience. I did a lot of research prior to making an appointment, and what made the difference to me was Laura's beautiful designs. I was adamant that I didn't want to buy a ring either from a big box jeweler or an online retailer (James Allen and the like). I wanted something that was unique and something that would catch the eye, but also would feel authentic to my fiancée's sense of style which is why I was so excited when I came across Laura Preshong. I was also happy to support a small, local, and woman-owned business.In addition to Laura's beautiful designs, my customer service experience was phenomenal. I worked primarily with Jamie who was very kind and patient with me. She is knowledgeable, insightful, and she helped me pick out a beautiful diamond.My fiancée is thrilled with the ring I picked out for her. She has received so many compliments on it which makes me happy for her and feels like a big accomplishment for me!

I got my engagement ring here earlier this year and had a wonderful experience. My fiancé and I went ring shopping together, and it was by far the most fun experience out of the 4 stores we went to previously. Laura herself helped us try on/pick a ring, and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely the most personalized, non-rushed experience (only one person/couple in for an engagement ring appointment at a time). Not to mention, I got my dream ring! I knew I wanted a low-set ring because I'm clumsy and not used to wearing jewelry, but I didn't like the options at any other stores. I also wanted a hidden halo, which is usually set higher. But at Laura Preshong, I found it all! A lower-set, hidden halo ring that is elegant and classic. Couldn't be happier with the ring or experience.

The Laura Preshong team was wonderful to work with to create my fiance's engagement ring! I specifically worked with Jaime and she was an immense help through out the entire process. I came to the team with a formed idea but a tight timeline and they were very clear on what was plausible. All together, the transparency, service and quality of the final product was incredible!

My fiancée and I recently got our engagement rings from Laura Preshong Ethical Fine Jewelry and had an absolutely wonderful experience with their entire team! As a queer couple, it was important to us to find a jeweler that we felt comfortable working with to find our perfect rings, and Laura Preshong Ethical Fine Jewelry met our expectations in that regard.The environment at their gallery was very relaxed and friendly, each staff member that we interacted with was helpful and extremely knowledgeable, and the process of finding our rings was seamless from beginning to end. We went to an initial appointment together, but wanted to keep the final rings a surprise from each other; they were very helpful in making sure that our correspondence with them after that point was separate. Our rings turned out beautifully and were exactly what we both wanted! We highly recommend going to them for engagement rings!

I recently purchased an engagement ring from Laura Preshong, and start to finish had a truly incredible experience working with the entire team. The quality of the work, the service/communication from the team, their attention to detail, and the overall process was second to none. If this is indicative of the quality experience I had - I plan to go back and shop for wedding bands from Laura Preshong too because of how good my experience was with their team with the engagement ring.I ended up creating a custom ring with their team, and it turned out better than I could have even imagined. Their whole team was patient, professional, and incredibly informative, especially with the many questions I had. I learned so much from their team and could not be more satisfied with the ring they helped me create. I never felt pressured, and everything about the entire process was extremely transparent and their communication with me through the entire time working with the gallery was exceptional.The ring was in my hands well within the time they quoted, and most importantly - My now fiancee absolutely loved the ring. It was stunningly beautiful and even better than expected when I saw it in person.For something that is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, they make it an incredibly fun experience. As a boutique jeweler, they truly do specialize in attention to detail and service that other jewelers cannot provide. I could not recommend more.

I was really excited about looking for engagement rings with my boyfriend. We live in the South End and walk by this store on our way to get coffee every morning so decided to pop in one day. Unfortunately, the store owner was incredibly rude and dismissive. We had a general idea of what we wanted but apparently that wasn't good enough. Following this encounter, we went to 2 different stores and they were kind, patient, and explained everything in detail to us both. I would strongly others to look elsewhere, especially when looking for engagement rings. This should be such a special moment and sadly Laura Preshong soured that moment.

I got my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band from Laura. We had checked out a few other jewelers and working with Laura and the staff was the best experience. I was clueless about diamonds but they explained everything very clearly and I never felt any pressure. The rings are beautiful - exactly what we were looking for - and they get complimented all the time. Thank you, Laura!
