I can’t say enough positive things about Hungry Tails. They have high quality items for your pets. Great customer service. If they do not have an item you need, they’ll order it personally for you. Good vibes all around.

I'm here all the time with my dog and we both love it. They have a huge selection of treats and toys. The store managers are always so kind and helpful and willing to order supplies that they may not carry in store. We ordered a fantastic dog bed (that our cat can't get enough of either) and leashes and pop in every few weeks for treats and other regular supplies. Highly recommend as a local pet supply store!

Great little store, very friendly service. One thing though—best way to get there is to take the T. Parking is a nightmare, especially on weekends, and the store is right around the corner from Maverick (blue line) MBTA station.

It's a cute family owned shop that we happened upon on our walk to the T. It was so cute and the girl there fit right in with our group. Loved our visit and would definitely come back again!

I love this place. They have all the goodies to spoil my dog and the necessities I need like wipes and bags. I love their buffet of treats I can never resist getting her something special.

We’ll be coming again to visit and will leave a new review then. They have a great selection although I’ll have to see if they have some of what we currently buy. We’ll potentially be going more local since loyal companion filed bankruptcy and closed stores. :( this is a great alternative to expensive petco and petsmart or chewy.

I absolutely adore this shop! Knowledgable staff and owners who are happy to answer any questions or provide recommendations if you need them. Even with one visit, you can tell this local shop really cares about their customers and their pets.This shop has everything: food, treats, toys, accessories, leashes, harnesses - you name it, they have it. During holidays they tend to carry holiday-themed things as well (ie: halloween toys and treats, Christmas toys, etc). You can buy prepackaged treats or you can create your own bulk mix (they provide little baggies). Last time I purchased: a brush that dispenses soap (to make it easier to give my pup a bath), some bulk treats (chicken/carrot/apple bites, dried chicken strips), bully sticks, teeth cleaning gel, no-hands leash, and some cat treats/toys for a few friends. For me, large pet shops can get overwhelming and I don't love running between 10 aisles to find what I need. At Hungry Tails, I know I can easily walk through the entire shop and find everything I'm looking for, in addition to learning about some new products or brands. The owners also take pride in only stocking items that are healthy and good-for-your-pets so I know I don't have to worry about quality. If you're in the area, definintely pop in - or, at the very last, make sure you take a look at their window display, which is always adorable.FWIW, I live in Somerville, but will go to Eastie to shop here. That's how much I love it.

Always reliable, they special order my dog’s food and deliver. Super friendly staff makes you feel like a valued customer unlike the big box stores or online. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
