250 Franklin St, Boston“A wonderful experience from arrival to check-out - great location, excellent amenities and service, and a staff that was most personable, efficient, and very good all around. Thank you for a great stay in Boston.”
“Great location for a visit to boston, midway between Back Bay and the North End, close to the Common. Convenient to the Freedom Trail and Beacon Hill. Luxury linens and friendly service. Exceptionally clean. We would definitely stay here again. Didn't use the gym,but we appreciated the bottled water and snacks in our room. Also, having a fridge in the room is a game changer.
I used the robe and slippers provided. I only wish there were more hooks for hanging the robe and towels! Only one towel bar didn't seem like enough. Also the partial shower door resulted in water on the floor every time we showered. We loved the motion-activated low blue lights that came on in the bathroom in the middle of the night. What a great idea!
We had a premium king with windows overlooking the street in front of the hotel. Always nice to have natural light.
The bar was always crowded, perhaps because they seem to give everyone free drink tickets when they arrive (wine and beer only). The coffee shop adjacent to the lobby is excellent but always had a line.
My other complaint is a lack of streaming apps. Only spotify and you tube were available. Would have been nice to have Amazon prime and Netflix so we could have had viewing options from our phones.
Overall, a great hotel.”

200 Boylston St, Boston“The best, most enjoyable breakfast in the Western Hemisphere is in the Four Seasons on Boylston St. Huge windows onto the lively and beautiful Boston Public Garden are the backdrop to really exceptional food and service. My Lobster Benedict had more lobster than a typical lobster roll, and it was so deliciously chewy that I was the last person to finish eating. The name of the restaurant, 'Aujourd'hu', is French for "amazingly excellent, and prices are much too low for this quality". I never mention names in reviews like this, but if the Wonderful Wilma is in attendance when you go, you're in luck.”
“The fantastic location and wonderful staff made for an excellent stay here! Located in the Back Bay Area, Westin is situated near my new favorite shopping and eating area, Newbury Street. It's central to many locations: 5-minute walk to the Prudential Center close to many restaurants, across the street from the Boston Public Library and also within walking distance to the Boston Common. What we enjoyed most though was the friendly service from all the staff we encountered. We checked in late around 5ish and our room wasn't ready because housekeeping hadn't yet finished cleaning the spilled wine on the floor, courtesy of previous guests. We booked a room with 2 queen beds but because of the anime convention, they were fully booked on this room type, so they offered us a king suite with a sofa bed. Never one to be surly to anyone in the service industry, especially one who tried their best to make things right for us, I accepted the substitution without complaint. They were apologetic and gave us vouchers for a free breakfast the following morning. I love a good service recovery gesture! At breakfast, we met warm and friendly Ezra who gave us recommendations for the Seaport district and chatted with us about his family, his native Barbados and his 6'1" teenage son. Then we met Freddy and Irene at the Club Lounge and again, super friendly and welcoming! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.”

“its a perfect base, especially if you are taking Amtrak / Acela. Its literally minutes walk and is in a safe neighborhood in downtown Boston. You could walk along the wharf pathway to north end or check out the markets or walk to Boston commons (all within 20 minutes). They recognize your ihg status so all is well. I watched a game at TD garden so took an Uber back - no drama. Rooms are pretty huge and they carry byredo which is nice”

120 Huntington Ave, Boston“My particular room was not good. No view and the closet door wouldn't open because it was too close to the bed. Front desk staff didn't appear to care at all that the restaurant and bar was closed for two night. That said, most other rooms looked much nicer than mine and the valet staff was very courteous and professional. Location is has good proximity to Back Bay and South End restaurants and bars and Prudential Center across the street. Twenty min walk to The Common and 45 to the North End.”

1234 Soldiers Field Rd, Boston“If you are looking for where to stay, don't double think it and just book! I stood at Studio Allston for a work travel. After a long day traveling, and getting in late at night, it was nice to have such attentive staff and smooth check-in. The property is such a gem and has some beautiful spaces to sit and work and just check out. The rooms are large and spacious and any additional amenities the staff was so kind to provide. I got in after the kitchen was closed, but I got to have lunch the next day and it was AMAZING! I cannot and will not stop raving out the short ribs tacos and how they just melt in your mouth, seasoned to perfection, and so fresh. I am gluten intolerant and sometimes I risk it all, but it was nice to have a menu that I did not have to overthink what to eat. I would without a doubt return! Also, small thing, but parking was right on premise and very affordable.”

776 Boylston St, Boston“It’s hard to beat a stay at the Mandarin Oriental. The attention to detail is absolutely incredible! Something I so appreciate when I stay. You’ll see in my photos how they organize your items when you leave. I’m organized, not that organized. Each time you walk into your room they make sure it is a place where you feel like you can relax. We came in on a cole rainy day and they sent hot chocolate up to our room for us and our kids. There was a nice chocolate gift waiting for us, and each day after! They organize your cords and give you screen cleaners if they notice a device with a unclear screen. The list continues. If you want to feel completely pampered when you are in Boston, stay at the Mandarin Oriental.Nearby activities: The hotel is connected to the Prudential center (mall and very tall building with great views you can pay to go to the top of). It is located on Back Bay surrounded by great shopping and restaurants.Walkability: You are surrounded by shops, entertainment, and food. Hard to beat the location unless you are looking for a specific place in Boston to be next to.Noteworthy details: Go to the spa, it’s free with your stay and has a luxury hot tube and steam shower.”

40 Berkeley St, Boston“Don't let the "bath down the hall" scare you away! They were always clean, they are a private bathroom shower/sink/toilet with locking doors, they were usually unoccupied, and not far from any of the rooms. The hotel is beautiful and in an amazing area with everything you need close by! Not far from the trains or busses either. We will definitely stay here again! The bed was super comfortable as well. My only small complaint is that other patrons weren't courteous of others when going back and forth to their rooms, they were obnoxiously loud. Overall 5/5, everyone at the front desk was super helpful and accommodating to requests.Rooms: Clean and comfortable, not too big and not too small.Walkability: Multiple restaurants and stores close by, also close to trains and busses.”
“Thank you so much for this wonderful place. I’m an active duty Sailor and this place was recommended to me by my CO. Stayed three nights and slept like a baby. Wonderful breakfast and coffee available all day long. Seriously appreciate this R&R opportunity before heading back out to sea again. Some pics of my room (the mess is my fault; I’m about to check out)There are a few rules that come with staying here so if your goal is come to Boston to get sloshed this might not be the right place to stay the night.Driving and need to park overnight?Postal parking garage is about a 18 min walk from here. $9 a night.”

154 Berkeley St, Boston“The room was lovely and clean with a nice view. There was construction on the road out front that made arrival confusing but we managed. The area is quiet but close to many stores and restaurants within a few blocks. Flour is down the alley and very close. It's a little bit of a walk to the subway entrance from what we found. The Brownstone sports bar is nearby with delicious food as well as many steakhouses.
Rooms: The room was very nice and clean. The shower has a body jet which is a nice touch. The beds are not queens so be prepared if you have children sharing or you're sharing for a girls' trip.”

100 Stuart St, Boston“Giving this Place 5 Stars all around. I travel often and stay in alot of hotels across the Country and this is definitely in my top 3 all time stays, arguably Number 1. Everything was perfect and I can be very particular. The main reason are stay was so delightful was because of Evandro Monteiro who works the front desk. He was so accommodating and helpful to whatever I needed. He's was very kind ,pleasure to Have a conversation with and always as smile on his face. My daughter goes to school around the corner so I will be up in Boston often and this is the only place Im going to stay, Well Done W Boston!”
“My family and I stayed here on a weekend getaway for my early birthday celebration. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't know what to expect but was happy that it had a Yard House restaurant and Starbucks. Also, it's connected to the Copley Mall and Prudential Center. Across the street, you will find the grocery chain, Star Market. Talk about convenient! They only offered valet parking for $69 a day; make sure to bring money to tip your drivers and bell hops. Every employee we encountered were very professional and friendly. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. I really loved the rainfall showerhead in the shower. Housekeeping was pleasant and offered to clean our room/provide new towels. The TV was huge; we were able to sign into Netflix with our account. There was a Keurig machine in the room and bottles of water for $5. The room was quiet at night; I couldn't really hear anyone in the hallway or outside. Unfortunately, we didn't get to check out the indoor heated pool because we didn't have time. There was a gym (which I didn't get to check out) and the M Club for VIP members. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. It was family friendly and close to everything! I would definitely stay here again.”

“Great location, on the same block as the BPL. Easy walk to the T and surrounding sights. Staff were kind, courteous, and welcoming. Bed was comfy, nice pillows, well appointed bathroom. Fours stars because the room was pretty small for the price.”
“Our first experience. We were were expecting a more dress-up crowd for Sunday Brunch. Definitely casual attire. The food however was top notch, reminiscent of Aujourd'hui. Service was impeccable, our server Chantal was a delight. Great place for a pleasant date.”

All the little thoughtful details were appreciated, including the soaps in the bathroom that smelled amazing!!

10 Avery St, Boston“I recently stayed at this hotel, and the service truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we checked in, the staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and seamless.
It started with Ms. Tall at the front desk, who got our room ready early, which was such a relief. Later, I requested a refrigerator for our room, and Ms. Marilyn Davis from engineering kindly brought it up. She went above and beyond, thoughtfully looking for the best place to put it. About 15 minutes later, she came back to offer a solution to our space issue, noting that the room was a bit tight for my partner’s oxygen equipment and mobility scooter. She mentioned a larger room was available and that she’d check on the rate — which she believed would remain the same. She showed us the new room, and it was perfect, much more spacious and exactly what we needed. Marilyn took care of everything, from getting new keys to arranging a bellboy to help with our bags, even redirecting the laundry I sent out to the new room.
Lisa, the waitress at the lounge, was also wonderful and attentive throughout our stay, making sure we were well taken care of. And while I can’t remember all their names, every other staff member we encountered was friendly and professional.
A special mention for the recovery of my toiletry bag — including jewelry — that I left in our old room. I was worried it was gone since the staff didn't want to disturb the new guests. But to my surprise, the bag was returned to me the next evening with everything intact.
After an underwhelming experience at another Marriott location just the night before, this hotel completely turned things around for us. The level of care and attention to detail has made our stay memorable. The hotel may not be the cheapest, but the quality of service is genuinely top-of-the-line. Thank you to Ms. Tall, Marilyn Davis, Lisa, and all the other amazing staff who made our stay so wonderful.”
“Stayed here for game 7 Bruins/Maple leafs. This is my spot from now on. Room was amazing, bed super comfortable, breathtaking city views, staff super friendly and accommodating. Loved the bar area, super chill vibe and a great old fashioned. Steps from TD Garden and all the action on game days. Love!!!”
“We traveled with a school group and all the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful — everything really smooth and a very comfortable stay. Rooms are great and the hotel felt very safe.”

140 Clarendon St, Boston“I can't complain.
I placed some orders through Amazon a month before my stay, and they stored them without problems (they only charge you US$5 per package). The location is excellent, in a beautiful neighborhood like Back Bay.
The excellent room. The bed is large and with many pillows. They leave you many towels in the bathroom. They may forget to replace the items used in a bathroom, but it doesn't matter.
They offer you complimentary breakfast, without knowing it beforehand. Breakfast is simple, with juice, coffee, fruits, croissants, muffins and that's it.
They have a 24-hour lounge room, where you can serve yourself water, tea or coffee with Starbucks capsules with cream.
It exceeded my expectations. I would go again.”

The room was small and with a pillar in the middle ? very well furnished though!
One thing that was a little uncomfortable was the bathroom which, with the sliding door, did not guarantee a certain privacy!”

401-403 D St, Boston“First time staying at an Aloft hotel. The lobby was nice and the check-in process was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The "market" items for purchase could use a few more hearty late night options.
This hotel is right across the street from the convention center which was convenient as I was here for a conference. It's a relatively easy walk to get other stuff in the area.
My only real complaint is the noise. The room I was in had paper thin walls, I could hear every conversation happening in the hallway, in adjoining rooms and every time someone above me dropped something, etc...Also, although I couldn't hear the elevator going up and down, I could hear the dinging of the elevator throughout the night. Finally, the planes taking off and landing at all hours at BOS was pretty loud. In general, I didn't get great sleep. Also, please put up some clothes/coat hooks. The only hook was a single hook in the bathroom. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable.”
“An exceptional place for a vintage stay! Everything is perfect: the decoration, the rooms with their vinyl turntable, quiet, clean and spacious, the breakfast, the heated swimming pool, and the friendly, helpful, smiling staff. All close to all amenities! We will come back! Well done!”
