Hong Kong Supermarket offers an incredibly comprehensive and excellent selection of ingredients for cuisines from all over Asia. It sells everything, including rare items not found in other markets, with a vegetable selection described as a chef's heaven. The store features a vast array of fresh mushrooms, ramen noodles, spices, oils, teas, and unique produce. Prices are generally considered fair and affordable, though they have gone up noticeably. The market, however, has some significant drawbacks. The store can feel unsanitary, with water dripping from the ceiling around fresh produce. The aisles are often obstructed by stacked items, making access difficult for those with mobility issues. Shoppers are advised to always check expiration dates on products. While the meats are generally good, the seafood is sometimes not as fresh. The workers are often described as curt. Despite these issues, many find it a must-go destination worth a visit for its authentic and extensive offerings.
