Absolute life saver! Brought multiple tuxedos and dresses there for a wedding in a panic and the help here was unbelievable. She helped turn around the same day to make sure we were looking perfect for the event. Thank you so much!

Michelle is such a sweetheart. Never before been able to say I had a truly “great” experience at a dry cleaner of all things. They did such a good job with my alterations, even on a tight timeline, and were incredibly kind throughout.

Not a good option for tailoring clothing/ alterations. Your clothes will not be done on time and the price is outrageous for the lack of quality.

I can't say enough. We were headed to a wedding on Saturday. I forgot to get my husband's clothes pressed. I dropped them off. Waited in line at Mike's Pastry. Got my pastry and they were ready. They saved the day. Thank you.

DO NOT GO HERE! Stopped bringing my dry cleaning here bc they ruined two sweaters. The woman refused to take any responsibility.....even though the stains were not there when I dropped off the sweater. Just argued with me. Now, I just went to pick up a gown they were supposed to alter so I could bring it someplace else and they completely lost it. It was a one of a kind dress from Bali that is irreplaceable. The woman again argued and argued with me. She tried showing me a $10 receipt from last October saying I picked up the dress already. Um, no. She literally argued for 20 minutes rather than actually looking for the dress. What cleaners would charge $10 for a full alteration of a dress? It's completely illogical but still she argued and argued. She even called my phone 20 minutes later to continue arguing with me RATHER THAN SPENDING THE ENERGY ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR THE DRESS. I even double checked my closets when I got home "just in case" and the gown was not there. Called her back to tell her and GUESS WHAT......SHE JUST CONTINUED TO ARGUE WITH ME. Must be bots that have given good reviews because they are the worst and completely unprofessional and lousy.

I went to Hanover Dry Cleaners to have a bridesmaids dress hemmed. The staff was so sweet and polite - they knew many customer by first name which is a feat in Boston. The woman who I believe runs the cleaners (I unfortunately do not know her name) asked me when I needed the dress back and was able to have it done in 4 days - this is prime wedding season mind you. She also charged me $30 which is incredibly reasonable, especially considering she fully steamed my dress for when I picked it up. I couldn't recommend this place more!

I took my Canada Goose Parka here and they ruined it beyond repair. I sent it to Canada Goose and they said that it is damaged by the cleaning company and that it is irreparable and not covered by warranty. Do not risk going to this establishment ever.

It's everyone's nightmare--you find the perfect pair of jeans that fit juuuuuust right...until they don't. I bought a pair of Madewell jeans that fit me like a glove, but after a few weeks they began to stretch. I needed the waist taken in just an inch or two for the perfect fit. I haven't fallen in love with a tailor yet in Boston, so when I found Hanover dry cleaners on yelp, I had no idea what I was in for. Turns out Hanover Dry Cleaners is a place full of experts who truly care about you & your clothing. The owner is a phenomenal seamstress and she encouraged me to try on the jeans so she could mark them. She is kind and patient and so smiley, it's a joy walking into the store. I anxiously waited a week for the jeans to be ready (a busy dry cleaning season I think) and when I picked them up today, they were tailored perfectly to my waist size! You could not tell they were tailored at all. And all for the fantastic price of $15. I will 100% be bringing any and all articles of clothing to Hanover Dry Cleaners for my tailoring needs! I echo the other reviewers when they say she takes longer than she quotes. I dropped them off 9 days ago with a week quote; came one week later and they were not done. Was told to come the following day, but I didn't end up coming until today (day 9). They actually weren't totally ready when I walked in; she had to finish them up which only took 5 minutes, but just be aware she will take her time. I'd rather a seamstress be methodical and thorough than speedy and sloppy!

I brought two dresses to be tailored to Hanover Dry Cleaners. I was so happy with the work that was done and the price was so reasonable! The only thing I'll say is that, if you want something done by a certain date, tell her you want it done earlier! Haha. She told me she would have it done one day and I called to check that same day and she said I could stop by. Then when I stopped by, it wasn't done and she said she thought I was coming later. Then I called back the next day and she said it wouldn't be done until that evening. However, the hassle was definitely worth it for the price, location, and quality of work.

I've been going here for tailoring and dry cleaning for about a decade. The family that runs it is super sweet and if that were the full measure of a business, I'd give it five stars.
