The worst bank in the face of earth. Worst support team in the whole world. Worst Wire department. I have no clue why they even exist. They can't do one transaction right. They cannot do anything right. Please never bank with this particular branch of First republic Bank. Cam and his team have no empathy for their clients. They mess up everything on purpose and do not follow any instructions. I am so extremely disappointed with their service. This is the worst experience for any FDI that we faced. DO NOT BANK WITH FIRST REPUBLIC. Go for Citibank or Chase instead.

The worst bank ever in the whole world. Can I give them 0 stars or worst negative infinite stars? They wasted 30 days of my time and $7000 of my money. Their third-grade service gave me sleepless nights worrying about my money. A bank cannot get worse than this. First Republic Bank, I hope you shut down soon because you don't deserve to exist. I have never been this frustrated with a bank and their service. If you are considering banking with First Republic, I urge you to please change your decision. Go for Chade or Citibank.I was born to bankers myself and have dealth with a lot of banks but this is handsdown the worst bank ever. The worst banking experience ever ever ever.Their wire room is the worst in the whole world.

The good: student loan rates are low and service during mortgage closing was great. The bad: mortgage rates are high, digital tools are horrid (way worse than BoA, Chase, Amex and everyone else), and the service is slow and bad when you email or call (10 months into COVID they've got long hold times and blame "the crisis").

Having been around a tad and having run a business from 0 to 288 employees and working with the Federal Government as our major customer I am acutely aware of what it means to please the customer. James Barr is our Client Wealth Manager and I can say with little hesitation that I am so impressed in the way he has or has treated me and engaged all the members of the First Republic Team to rally around their client...me. To anyone who has worked hard for their money, you should give these folks a shot at taking you to the financial finish line, better than all the promise makers you will ever interview.

Excellent service I've used them for my mortgage since Nov 2018. Always great customer service I really only use them for my mortgage and I'm close to paying it off and would def use them again for other accounts as well if needed. Whenever u call customer service for password resets they are always prompt and wait till I actually long on before hanging up.

This bank has amazing interest rates for student loan refinancing. I had a great experience with everyone I spoke to except for Patrick. Unfortunately for First Republic, he's the account executive in the area and the main person you work with when applying for refinancing. His communication was poor. He would not return emails in a timely manner. Usually, I ended up calling him. When I asked him any questions, he became irritated and terse. He made me feel as though he is doing me a favor to be considered at First Republic. Throughout our refinancing application process, I was very responsive and provided any documents he needed within 1-2 days. My last conversation I had with him was on speaker at my workplace and my co-workers were surprised that he was speaking to me in a demeaning tone. I'm sure his job is stressful, but I felt that his customer service needed to be improved. This is also my first yelp review, which I hope tells you how upset I was with him. Like I said, if you are able to get your loan refinanced at their interest rates, it is definitely worth banking with them since you will save money. Good luck!
