UPDATE: Returned to my regular salon in Rhode Island 1 month after visiting Fascino for a cut and keratin (yes, spent another $200+) and my hairdresser was ASTOUNDED that this salon did not wash the keratin treatment out of my hair but instead just blow dried and straightened it into my hair. They said that this left chemicals in my hair, which no salon should ever do. Additionally, my hairdresser straightened my hair and gave me a mirror so that I could see the back of my head, only to find that the ends of my hair were completely CROOKED, it literally looked like a zig zag and was so embarrassing. What a frustrating experience and a complete waste of money that I had at this salon, to say the least.

Got my haircut here last night extremely pleased with the results. Loved my stylist, Fabrice and the price was definitely worth it. Not too expensive whatsoever and I'm super happy with how my hair looks and feels. Definitely check this convenient salon out I will be back

I was squeezed in without an appointment for a rescue blowout in time for a business meeting. Charity (aptly named) did a wonderful job of making me presentable. Lovely salon and very nice staff.

I purchased a groupon for 3 blow outs and was not able to reach anyone via phone. I then began emailing the salon to try and make my appointment. I had success and received a response, though, due to the delay, it took 5 days before they confirmed my appointment. On the 4th day of this process, my groupon expired. Though, this should not have been an issue as Groupon's policy stipulates that as long you make an appointment, the groupon remains valid for use past the expiration. Unfortunately, Fascino salon was not willing to uphold this rule. A day after my appointment had already been confirmed, Isabella called to tell me that my Groupon was not valid. Keep in mind that I had been trying to make the appointment for almost a week, and the salon's delay in communication was why I couldn't even solidify the appointment. I explained to Isabella that this was really poor practice and I was sorry to hear their decision, but that I would write a review telling of my experience with her and he unwillingness to be reasonable.

I hate to write bad reviews, especially for smaller businesses but out of all the salons to go in Boston, this is not the one. I get blowouts for events from time to time and they had a promotion so I decided to try them out. At the time, I couldn't imagine how poorly a simple blow out experience could go... 1) My first apt I booked the appointment two weeks before the event. The salon sent me an email (no call) canceling after business hours the night before. There was no apology. I reached out and said I did not have time to schedule another apt this cannot be moved, I received no confirmation- I showed up hoping I could get in and they took me a bit later, although they made me feel like honoring my original appointment was a favor. The appointment experience: The hair was already lightly curled with just the blow drier and the brush, however the stylist continued to add light curls with an iron, I did not request this, nor feel it was needed, but at the time I did not know it was an extra charge so I did not think much of it either. Upon check out they hit me with two extra charges that I was never made aware of. The stylist was sweet and did ask them to remove one because I did not know. If I did not have the package, I would not have returned to the salon after that experience but I was hoping it just an "off day" for them. 2) The second apt I booked before a wedding. Due to the experience I had with the last one canceled the night before, I called and confirmed the appointment time - which I wrote down, and repeated back to her twice to be sure. I asked if I could come in earlier, the salon said this was their earliest apt they offered every Friday and said it was not possible for me to come in earlier. However, they called *before* my scheduled time confirmed the night before claiming I missed my appointment and not to come. I was on my way when I received the message, so I walked back home and called them to understand why and requested that they don't count this as a visit because this was not the time I scheduled, nor that they confirmed the night prior. They told me they wouldn't if I could get there in 15 minutes - so I (literally) run all the way back that way and they not only don't take me in but charge me as if I had the apt. The unforgivable part of this experience is not that I was left without a hair appointment before the wedding but that the receptionist/owner would not admit that she moved my apt without my consent, after declining an earlier alternative on the phone. I would have happily come in earlier if I had been told it was available to me. The salon was empty on the Saturday I was in, that's unheard of in Boston and I expect this level of service is the reason why. If ever you do go here, I would be sure you don't pay any services in advance as they seem to take advantage of this (as noted in other reviews). Best of luck.

I just stopped in for a desperate eye brow wax and was very impressed! Ghadda was amazing. She convinced me to do threading for the first time and it was fabulous! I've never had my eyebrows done so fast and so well. I will absolutely be going back.

I've been going to Ghada religiously for my eyebrows for years now - following her wherever she goes. She gets 5 stars without a doubt! She is the reason I go to Fascino. The salon itself - gets 3 stars. Raising prices what feels like consistently. As someone who's been going for years to see Ghada, I figured I'd pickup some hair product while I was there a couple of weeks ago, knowing my husband was out of his hair wax. The Salon was very quick to sell me the oribe wax I thought he used (for $40 - I could've gotten it cheaper elsewhere) & told me I could return or exchange if it wasn't the right one. Sure enough, I got home & realized I had gotten the wrong one, so I swung through the next day (24 hours later) to exchange. They didn't carry the product I needed, so I asked to return the hair product I had bought the day before, unopened, still in the box it came in. After telling me twice the product I bought was going to be discontinued soon (I don't care, we won't use it!) I was told I'd only be getting $32 back of the $40 I paid - due to a 20% restocking fee. What?? This fee was never mentioned to me when I purchased the product & vocally said I wasn't sure it was the right one, AND I had it in my possession for less than 24 hours, unopened. How could I be charged restocking?! Needless to say, I'll continue to go here for Ghada & Ghada only, but as far as replenishing my hair product needs or any other services, I'll steer clear to avoid any future sneaky fees.

Get your eyebrows threaded by Ghada here - she's the best!! I've been going to her for about 10 years now and am a customer for life. She's shapes them well, is fast and is such a nice person.
