Esquire Moving made our lives SO much easier. Everything from scheduling the move, pickup and delivery was phenomenal. Our movers Dennis, Vladimir and one more, whose name I cannot remember right now, were excellent. These gentlemen were very professional and hardworking. They did an incredible job packing up our apartment in a very minimal amount of time. Delivery, six states south, was two days after pickup (upon our request). Very impressive work by these guys. If we ever need to move again, Esquire will be the company of choice. Thank you so much for your services! These guys deserve a raise

Overall I am pretty happy. First was the quote process. I was quoted around $2000 and then I was able to negotiate it down to about $1900. But a few days before the move, they called me and adjusted upwards to the original price after I told them about a few random items - small things like a vacuum cleaner and 2 suitcases. I wasn't really happy about this because they had already seen the video I sent them. It wasn't fair to have to adjust upwards since I was already moving out of a very small space with not that much stuff, and that felt like a bait and switch. Though, I will say that they gave me the best price out of the 3 others I contacted. The movers were overall good. They arrived on time, and moved extremely efficiently. The large furniture was wrapped up into the wrappings. They also used blankets for the wooden furniture. One negative though, is that they didn't really seem to treat my stuff with that much care. A few of my boxes were labeled fragile and there was at least one box that fell from a medium height. Overall, only 1 thing broke, which was not that big of a deal because it was probably like $6 in value, but I could tell they didn't pay attention to the box labels. They assembled and disassembled ~1 or 2 things, which was included in the price. They drove about 140 miles without incident. Then, there was a small wait as I was getting the keys at the new apartment. They moved my stuff into the room and then left. I was pretty happy with their efficiency overall. I do recommend this company. I think they have a good price and are reliable. I would just try to stay firm on the price, and know that the move is ideal for people who do not have super expensive and breakable things. I moved those things in my car separately.

A quick response was received on a Sunday for an unexpected Iast minute move the following day. Since the quote was comparable, reviews were positive, and research was favorable, Esquire was hired at their cash rate of $115.00 per hour and not the additional 4% credit card fee added to the invoice totals. The move was to transfer boxes and some furniture from 6-7 rooms to the basement so flooring could be replaced. I offered to send Yuri pictures so he could see the quantity and type of items to be moved, but I was told that with their extensive experience being a "Certified" New England mover it wasn't necessary. I also relayed that the contractor offered to help, but Yuri told me that, due to liability concerns of broken items and blame, that they would prefer to move everything themselves and the move would take only 2 hours by 2 movers. The movers arrived 2 hours after the agreed upon noon start time (during normal lunch hours). They were coming 1/2 hour away from Framingham to Worcester, but I was charged an hour and a half of travel time at the beginning of the job and the end. They also could not complete the job because an empty china cabinet, in my family for generations, was too heavy. If I was moving to another residence or state I would have had to leave it. When I asked if the removable cabinet top and drawers were separated could it then be brought down the 1 flight of stairs. That was denied due to weight, without an attempt to see if they could even lift each piece. There was also a very heavy island and when I asked if that could be broken down into pieces and moved down the 1 flight of stairs Yuri told me they COULD do that (but my contractor actually brought all pieces down himself). When I asked if a third mover was in the area could they come assist the 2 piece cabinet move down the 12 steps, I was told I would have to pay that third salary, additional travel time, plus extra time for the movers already there. All problem solving suggestions were from me and not 1 idea from Esquire. Unfortunate since there are at least 6 more jobs from me alone between now (July 2024) and next year. Naturally, no one should ever be in harm's way and liability should always be taken into consideration. These are all reasonable business practices. However, if I was authorizing assistance to keep a precious family heirloom, including the offer to sign a waiver, that option should be available. With extensive expertise I would have thought alternatives could have been considered. As a newly disabled recent double amputee with no legs I was completely dependant on professionals who over-inflated travel time, couldn't complete the job they were hired for, offered no suggestions on how to tackle issues, and were completely satisfied leaving behind beloved heirlooms with family memories and history attached to them. All for over $500.00. If you have family heirlooms or items you cherish and would like to keep I strongly recommend hiring someone else.

This company at first seemed easy to do business with but after they did a FaceTime walk through of my 2 bedroom condo they quoted the job plus $300 per month for temporary storage. At the end of the moving process they said their was much more stuff then anticipated and quoted over $700 per month for storage plus a substantial up-charge for the actual move. After I called the office they did negotiate a 6 month solution for something in between then escalating to $700 on month 7. I showed up at their storage site unannounced and found our furniture piled up in a disheveled mess with heavy items on top of fragile items. I ended up having them move our items to another storage provider for better access and half the cost but noticed a number of our items were damaged. One of our dining room cane mahogany chairs had a hole in the cane with scratches and abrasions on the wood portion as well. All of these chairs were recently re-canned for $400 each prior. I had them call the office and send a picture and the driver was instructed to have me to file a claim. I don't have much faith in getting any restitution here since I never received a follow up call from them on the issue. I would have expected a more proactive approach when it was apparently clear that the item was damaged in transport or storage. I noticed a few other of those dining room chairs with abrasions on the corners as well. All of the paintings and gold plated mirrors were laid flat with items on top instead of vertical storage and not treated with the respect that they deserved. Even when loading up the new storage space they laid an expensive oil painting flat on top of boxes then threw a large hassock on top. Not sure if it was damaged because I was too distraught to open up the box and packaging to look. They also dropped a box of china in the truck that was marked fragile breaking a number of items and instead of looking to see if they damaged anything they just ignored it and kept going. I didn't discover this until they left after opening the box they dropped. I have paid these folks about $6,000 over the last 6 months and they have damaged at least if not twice that amount. All in all, I feel totally abused from this experience.

My moving crew arrived early and got my entire apartment packed in just 90 minutes. They were also a fantastic help with furnishing my new place. On top of all that, the final cost was less than the initial quote. I would highly recommend Esquire for moving services.

They do not honor their contract. Keep adding extra charges and want to charge more for delivery of my stuff while I have paid contract in full. I do not recommend the company and I wish I had more information before hiring them. I hired Milvus company but esquire company showed up, not sure how it can happen. Updates: the company is refusing to deliver my belongings. I am speechless and will pursue this matter legally. Stay away from this company. All false information provided by company. I booked Milvus company, and esquires company showed up asking for much higher invoice than what was discussed with me. I had packed most pf my stuff myself in Amazon bags. They worked so slow to charge me as much as possible for a studio without any furniture, no bed, no dining set, no drawer, just boxes of clothes and books! I informed them that my move to California was on hold, and asked for a contract for local move in Boston area. They prepared contract for over 800$ for boxes of clothes and books without furniture for move in Boston area, and I paid in full. I even made sure to personally write on the contract that the invoice was for local move in Boston area. They kept sending me inconsistent invoices for monthly storage stating I had remaining balance from move, which was not true and I have paid the move in full. They decline to deliver my belongings stating that contract was only for pick up!!! They charged me over 800$ for boxes of clothes and books that I had packed most in Amazon bags. I have moved in Boston area 3 times and once I had many furnitures and was charged much lower than this price. Now they refuse to deliver my belongings and I am pursuing legally. Stay away.

Best possible experience. Extremely friendly, showed up 5 minutes early, moved everything flawlessly including disassembling (and reassembling) some very unwieldy furniture, put everything exactly where we asked them to and did it all for $6 less than the quote they gave us. I hope not to move again in the near future but if I do I’ll use them for sure.

I had a great moving experience with this company. It was my first time using movers and I felt like I was in good hands the entire time. Rate was the best I could find, they went above and beyond with insuring my items were safely secured for moving, and everything was done efficiently. Shout to Amilcar and Mario for great work!

The team faced difficulties but completed the task on time. Moving the furniture and its contents was not an easy task. However, the company simplified the entire process.

The movers came on time and did a great job. They did the disassembly and assembly of the furniture. That worked perfectly. I would book this company again and again.

The staff members were efficient and knowledgeable. It's not easy for me to give five stars, but these guys really deserve it. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
