Visited here Saturday afternoon. The shop is a bit overwhelming. It is more like a path through a maze of tables heaping with china. There is china on the floor, china everywhere you look. There are some cute pieces but it’s hard to even look when some you can’t even get to. Their prices are a bit outrageous. No one is going to pay $85 for a small vase, $50 for tea cup and saucer, and $60 for a book you can get online for $12. Always check online. Owners were very pushy and hovered over us the entire time. Couldn’t even look at a French plate without them coming over. They will try to get you to buy anything and everything. Some things that don’t even qualify as antique. Seems to me like they either can’t sell things in this location or everything is priced way to high. Who knows if they sell anything.

I had to take some time to write this and help promote Janice and Cal's cute little antique business in beacon hill. they are the sweetest elderly couple, super knowledgeable and explained to me the history behind each of their pieces. shop has a lot to offer but specializes in antique procelains. I bought a beautifulChinese embroidery from them 2 yrs ago and my mom got a pair of Dresden Lamb cup sets today. both will be treasured for years to come. makes me sad that there isn't more shops like this in this mass produced world.(the husband got yelled at for giving us too much of a discount so l gotta help him out here lol)

I would say it’s the best antique store I’ve ever been to. The shop owners are really knowledgeable, honest and friendly. The collections are incredible. A must go to shop whether you live or visit Boston.

Very sweet elderly couple who helped me pick out some items. I bought their cheapest, discounted teacups and saucers which were hidden underneath a cabinet, but the owners were still so kind and attentive. They lovingly cleaned the cups and saucers and packaged them nicely. I must say it's a pleasure using them for tea at home. The store has an extensive collection of vintage and antique china that's hard to find anywhere else, especially in this modern day and age. A hidden gem in Boston!

Janice is great! Super knowledgeable and the shop is packed to the rafters with beautiful things. The oldest and best in the neighborhood for a reason.

The most incredible antiques place I've ever been. Beautiful porcelain and other items. Like going to the museum, but you can buy the exhibits.

Oh my goodness! This place is so cute! A husband and wife own it and they have for over 20 years. The wife is the finder and takes pride in all her antiques she finds. Her husband is in charge of the packing and is so proud of it he regaled me with many a story of a satisfied customer after traveling home with treasures that didn't break. It was adorable. While it did take about 30 mins to wrap one glass to take home, which turned into 3 before I left (probably his tactic haha), I enjoyed listening to his stories and looking around the store. If you like glassware and china, this is the place for you.

Probably the best shop at Charles Street right now. Great collection and even better shopkeepers. Would recommend to anyone visiting.
