The biggest annoyance is dealing with their atms. They seem to never be working properly so almost every week I need to find another eastern to deposit my check at. It's annoying to walk around with an endorsed check in my pocket..

Avoid banking with Eastern. They'll mess up your debits so they can charge you superfluous fees. This branch also has extremely poor customer service. They don't want to earn your money, they just want to take it. I've banked with them for a year now and have regretted ever since. Time to shop for a new bank. One I can actually trust with my money.

Every time I Visit Eastern Bank everyone is very helpful and friendly.There. Should not be a bad rating for this Bank.Judith the Branch manager goes out of her way.Wendy , Christine all are helpful.I am QUEEN from Supreme Liquor.Never have a problem. GOOD WORK EASTERN BANK.DORCHESTER AVE.

I went to open bank account and greeted by extremely rude lady named Wendy at front desk who didn't even tell me the exact requirements to open a bank account, had to make a trip back home to bring documents only to be told I'm ineligible to open account. I suggest the bank take measures to educate their staff how to greet the customers. Back to basics of interpersonal communication.

Worst bank ever!!! Told me I'd get my card in 10 days been 2 months and nothing. I closed the account and my direct deposit was still active and I couldn't access my funds worst organization ever!!

Terrible..they allow people to use others credit card numbers without confirming identity. Basic security for customers and others doesn't seem to work here. As a thought, if you have a customer making multiple withdrawals for cash on a credit card take a better look.
