If I could put zero stars , I WOULD. I have been with rockland trust about 10 yrs - since a teenager. I entered this branch today because I thought I left a card somewhere over the weekend, when trying to temporarily lock it on the app it would not work and gave me a number to call, I called on way home to check for card and was told that’s not something that’s done and they need to deactivate card completely. I said I don’t want to do that, but it was done. Going into the branch today with the card I FOUND , I assumed I could get a replacement. When sitting with Rafaelito, he was very nice at first. He started claiming to be having computer issues and asked if I can return before 5pm or tomorrow morning or Saturday (I work and cannot) I told him I cannot do that and he called headquarters. After two tries and trying to rush me out, he got through and hung up with them quickly telling me I could not get a reissued card and I would get a letter. I asked why and he tells me that’s not his job to ask her way just to relay the message. UNBELIEVABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. When asking what am I supposed to do with no access to a direct deposit coming in , he says to me , that’s your problem to handle not mine and laughs shrugging. I left the office room going to the teller to take my money out of the account so I could at least have access to SOMETHING I earned. And was told it’s probably because I’ve had multiple replacement cards … over a 10 yr span! Of COURSE I was the irresponsible teen, however 3 cards before this were stolen in separate instances of horrible luck all with proper documentation (NEVER CLAIMED FRAUD OR HAD DEALT WITH FRAUD DEPT. EVER). Rafaelito, count your days because I hope you insult somebody else in your fake designer shoes insinuating that being “broke” due to the fault of the banks mistake, is my “problem” to handle. I hope somebody handles YOU !! I’ll be back Saturday to close my account and move ELSEWHERE because you just ruined a 10 yr customer. May your days be filled with everything you truly deserve for your disrespectful, entitled, STUCK UP SASSY ATTITUDE.

The other day I had to call once again for something. Instead of having to jump through hoops to get a human, much to my surprise, a woman named Katrina picked right up. I was pleasantly surprised. Our interaction was how all CSR/customer conversations should go. She was incredibly nice, and professional without being stuffy. She should be in charge of training the CSR staff. She resolved my issue, and after we hung up I felt happy instead of on the brink of a stroke.

Had the worst experience due to the two women tellers (Asian).While standing in line I noticed how nice they treated the (white customers) ahead of me I just assumed I would be treated with the same respect, unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I’ve never felt discriminated against until I was completely disregarded as a human being. Luckily the nice gentleman helped and walked me back to the teller and apparently after him speaking with her her attitude changed. She turned me away until he spoke with her.

The staff are awesome.I usually visit the Rockland Trust located on Washington Street in Boston Mass. They are very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy going there for my banking needs.Great service is important.

This place charged me over $30 in ATM fees in one month, on top of paying the $3.50 charge per use. This bank barely has any ATMs anywhere, making it hard to access your money without absurd charges like this. Customers should decide if having access to your OWN MONEY is worth that price.

Second time I visit this branch and it is not open. Online I found that they open at 8:30 and the same time is posted at their door. It is currently 8:40 AM and it is closed. Can it be possible all employees are late the same day? Last time at least other employees were at the door waiting for the manager to open, but no one is here today! Disappointed, not very good customer service.

Just received a call from Christina from the bank she was able to get my money back and waive all fees that I had. She put my worries to rest.
