Dr. Chopra was attentive to my dog's needs. He explained what he was doing and why. My dog needed an ASAP appointment and the front desk workers were happy to accommodate me. My doggy went home happy and feeling much better.

Always a hectic experience causing lots of stress to all of the pets. Usually a 30-45min wait before being seen.

I have had several visits to this great vet’s office and have marveled at the staff who try their hardest to accommodate EVERY patient ‘s needs.

Excellent Dr & staff
Caters to all my animal’s needs. Warm, friendly, courteous environment. Really don’t mind if there’s a wait, it just means Dr C is doing a thorough exam from A to Z on our pets. Prices are comparable to surrounding practices.
Some of these reviews make me wonder if they are going to this office. Nothing like I’ve experienced here

The front desk could be more professional and nicer to ppl. They’re racist and they have zero customer service skills. I had my cat in a treatment with this doctor when I called them back asking what’s the next step for my cat’s treatment the answer was “I don’t speak Spanish.” I asked you in English girl. They’re horrible to explain what’s going on with your animal. The only one thing that they’re worried about is YOUR MONEY. Go elsewhere. I recommend Angel Pet hospital in Boston where you can have everything done with excellence. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Very friendly staff, and I’ve always felt like my dog was in *pretty* good hands, but the waiting room and overall structure is completely disorganized. Instructions for medication is not clear (often very very confusing) and the support staff doesn’t communicate with confidence. I will likely be looking for a different vet.

I had the same experience on Friday too. The front desk women need to be organized, friendlier and professional, and stop looking at her phone. She dont know anything about medications or can explain the medication or how to give it. She acted like I was bothering her when I asked about the medication needing to be in the fridge, she said there's a sticker right there, sorry didn't see it. In the past had come on Friday's. I decided not to come because of the older doctor and the craziness in the waiting room. It is to small for so many pets. Dogs are on top of both other dogs and scaring the cats. The wait is about 45 minutes. A few times the woman kept us updates saying the doctor had an emergency surgery. But not always. she said to book the first appointment at 10 so I wouldn't have such a wait. That wasn't right, still waited 30 minutes. I will never come on a Fri again. I do not feel they are racist. The ones that don't speak spanish try to. One girl said let's go slow on the phone and we did without anyone. Learn English or i don't speak spanish doesn't bother me, dont see it as racist, more out of frustration on both sides. But not having spanish speaking nurses does. Why do the secretaries do it? Why aren't Spanish speaking nurses there?
That I find kinda racist. I will continue to bring my pet there because of Dr Chopra and Amy. The doctor is very overwhelmed, sometimes its hard to understand him too, but a good doctor. Amy is helpful and friendly. The male nurse is not friendly and rough with my cat. I hope maybe this will help with getting spanish nurses. And not letting there be such a long wait, which will help with the craziness in the waiting room.

If English is not you’re first language I personally wouldn’t recommend you to go here, I went for emergency for my pet waited in there for at least 40-45 minutes waiting to get my pet checked out, I come to find out nobody there could of help me until this young lady tried to help translate, out of nowhere I hear someone in the front desk say “you’re in America why don’t you speak English” I was so in shock and I didn’t know what to say. No where in their business it says “only English “ how was I supposed to know they didn’t speak Spanish when they’re are located in east Boston where almost 75% of the population first language is Spanish. On top of that they made me wait another 30 minutes because someone else pay for my pets medicine and was trying to make me pay their bill. Overall I don’t recommend this place and best believe I will never step a foot in there.

I've gone to vets where I question the costs and/or tests, or am made to feel like I'm not part of the decision making process. Got lectured at one just bc I asked about CBD and if they thought it would help. I've never felt that way at EBAH. In fact, I now drive 45 mins out of my way to go there because they've always been super accommodating and very reasonable with the treatment and costs. Last time i was there they were explaining to an owner while in the waiting room that they could save $75 if they came back in a couple of days rather than paying 2 technician fees. So I'm surprised by some of the comments bc I've had the opposite experience there. There are no frills... it's not fancy...but the vet knows what he's doing and everyone has always been efficient and very kind to me and my pooch!

We took my boyfriend's cat to this place to do something as simple as cutting his nails and having his ears checked because he was scratching a lot and they decided to give me two injections without my boyfriend's consent which caused his death, 24 hours later. The cat began to have trouble breathing. We took him to an emergency room where they told us that the medicine they had given him at the East Boston Animal Clinic had caused his heart to beat very fast and had inflamed his lungs, which caused him to die. death, my boyfriend and his children are going through a very difficult time due to the death of their kitten. I hope they take action on the matter and focus more on giving adequate attention to the animals or if that is not their vocation that they close it but Let them start thinking that for one, animals are family, not just a cat.

I don't understand how this business still has 4 stars if I have read many very bad reviews and personally I have seen two friends who have taken their cats to this place and one of them died due to the negligence of this place in administering medication knowing that the cat had heart problems and that caused his death. It is so sad that a veterinarian cares more about money and does not care about animals. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE SO IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT TAKING YOUR PET TO THIS PLACE, THINK TWICE.
