It's right next to where I stay, so it's easy access to a good gym. They have a pool, workout classes, and a variety of fitness equipment for all levels. Sign up is a breeze, then get started right away. Pick up their monthly activities calendar to stay in the loop.

My experience here at the Dorchester YMCA has been very rewarding to me. I started Water Therapy classes after my knee replacement and it has definitely helped me. I came here walking with a cane now I have been able to walk without it.

Inexpensive and if you are low income they accommodate that with subsidiary prices. Pools with sauna and gym and basketball court. Also lockers available as well

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The facility is clean. The pool is exceptionally well maintained. The leadership is responsive to members. We are very fortunate to have the Y in our community.
