The worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Refuse to administrate and acknowledge a walk in Covid vaccine while there’s availability online but their sign up system is broken. The lady working there was rude and racist. Avoid at all cost.

Overcrowded, understaffed, and out of basic meds for weeks at a time. Don’t use this pharmacy for life-sustaining medication.Better yet, choose a pharmacy that treats its employees better. CVS seems to have lost touch with reality, and is spiraling downhill fast.

One of the employees in the pharmacy section is rude and probably racist. She told me to wait for the medicine I’m gonna picking up, and I’m totally fine with it. But there’s like only 1~2 people visit the pharmacy section during that period, and I’ve been waiting for 20+mins. Until another girl noticed me and asking me if I need help, so I told her what happened and she told me the medicine was already there… Then I go back to talk with the initial person that worked with me, and she’s like chatting and laughing with her coworker and seems like she’ve completely forgot me????? Go find another pharmacy if you can until they changed their employees…

The people working in the pharmacy section here are rude and racist. I went in today to get the flu & Covid shot, I had already made a reservation appointment in advance. When I came to my scheduled appointment I checked in with the girl working the counter who didn’t even really acknowledge me, and just told me to wait which I was fine with, but half an hour goes by and I check in with her again to ask how much longer and she rudely says they’re busy handling other things. It’s not until a full hour is about to go by and someone else notices that I’m still here that they work with me to get the flu and Covid shot I came in for. He asked if I had checked in with someone and this confused me since the girl who I did in fact checked in with was standing next to him. I pointed at her and he let me know that she had never even notified them about it which caused me to wait unnecessarily for over an hour necessary. Truly the worst experience!

Normally my go-to when I'm in the US, which is quite often (I am an Australian). However, on this last occasion I went into the CVS at Coolidge Corner and went to the Pharmacy at the back to ask for Sudafed - which I need for Hayfever. I know it is a controlled but over the counter medication these days however after presenting my Australian Passport as ID (I'm a former diplomat and a Pic Passport is the highest level of identification you can have) the pharmacy attendant rejected it as ID due to it being a Foreign Passport... What the??? what does a non US citizen do when in need of medication?? Just get sicker and die?? Please explain..

The pharmacist gave me the wrong vaccine!I made an appointment to get a Shingrix vaccine after my doctor advised me to get it because I got infected with Shingles. When I came to the pharmacy, the pharmacist strongly insisted that the vaccine my doctor advised me to do was the wrong one and that I should get a different one - Varivax Varicella, a chickenpox vaccine. She said that the vaccine my doctor advised me to get is only given to people over 50 years old, and I should not get it. Even after I showed her my doctor’s notes, she implied that the doctor might have made a mistake and I should get the chickenpox vaccine instead of the shingles one.I decided to listen to her and get the one she advised. Unfortunately, she was wrong. I got some side effects, and when I called my doctor, she was astonished that a pharmacist refused to follow her notes and gave me the wrong vaccine. She said CDC recommends the shingles vaccine for adults who got infected. And the pharmacist should have known this.I am so disappointed that I trusted the pharmacist at this CVS. I paid almost $200 for the vaccine I never needed and now have side effects

Evil bureaucracy does not let you cancel their CarePass subscription. I don’t recall signing up for this and generally avoid any monthly fees. At any rate, I realized that they have been charging me monthly for years. I call to cancel. Lines busy. Not even “sorry, it’s a long wait”. It’s just “we don’t do this by phone, try online”. But I haven’t made an account online. I use the email that CVS has, and no record of CarePass (not connected to email? They just have my credit card info and are going crazy?). So how am I supposed to cancel? I can’t online and they literally are not supporting phone calls right now. And they obviously know I haven’t used this and have no problem charging me for years.

Always have the worst paper bags with no handles. My paper bag literally disintegrated in the rain and made my items scatter all over the street on the way home.

I was told that I could not pick up a medication that I have been taking for over 7 years and have been refilling here for 3 years because “it is a narcotic”. Vyvanse is not a narcotic?? ((And I would hope someone who works at a pharmacy would know that!)) When I tried to explain that it is not, I was treated as if I was like drug seeking and was then promptly dismissed and not offered any suggestions on how to go about getting my medication. I understand that controlled substances are tricky and have certain rules, but to be adamantly dismissive about something you clearly don't actually know about is shocking and terrible customer service.
