I had to get a prescription transferred from my home pharmacy, which as out of stock; my pharmacy looked up the Grove Hall pharmacy on the computer and said they had it in stock. My pharmacy gave me the Grove Hall phone number and address and told me to call them to ask them to fill it. The guy who answered wanted to argue with me, saying over and over "well THEY never called over here." I finally said, "they never said they were calling you, they gave me the phone number and told me to call and that is what I am doing." When I picked up the prescription, I told the guy that I am old and alone, and obviously not feeling well, and that is really stressful to be treated that way. he basically told me to f off. It's the fat white guy with the full beard. Brown hair. What ever happened to being helpful? I told him he should consider how he is treating people. Will never step foot in this place again. The difference in how you are treated in the poorer CVS areas is noticeable. Racism, classicism, I don't careism. Poor people deserve compassion and good service as much as anyone, and they probably need it more.

I really love going to the CVS on 778 Dudley Street in Dorchester, MA. George the Pharmacist is always very helpful, kind, and professional. He is always great in getting my medications for me in a timely fashion. Thank you so much!!!!

Went here today to buy Benadryl and was told I needed an ID to buy it even though I wasn't carded two weeks ago for it. There was an active supervisor with the district managers in the store who watched this go down yet they didn't explain why I needed an ID to buy Benadryl. I don't know when this particular cvs started to ID for meds like Tylenol and Benadryl but it's weird. Will be contacting corporate about it because this is the only cvs that ever gives me issues. I know they are under new management but seems like the new management team doesn't know what they are doing.

In person or on the phone I've never had a problem with anyone being rude I haven't been in this CVS since last year since CVS now delivers my medication and the other reason is they don't have the shelves well-stocked particularly the hair products they sell out real fast FYI depending on how fast you walk it's a 10 to 15min walk to the Salvation Army Kroc Center on Dudley Street

This review is for the pharmacy. I can not imagine a worse pharmacy than the one CVS has right here in Dorchester. Between losing prescriptions and terrible customer service (20+ min phone wait times), they are incredibly unreliable and unhelpful. If giving no stars were an option, I would take it. Seriously, find another pharmacy. ANY other pharmacy.

I dont even know why i gave it two stars. It really should be zero to one star at most ! This is THE WORST CVS in boston i think maybe in america ! The customer service is lousy. Very slow.not helpful at all..they hardly have anything in stock .the coupon machine NEVER works...i can go on and on...they advertise moneygram and dont even do moneygram ! The list goes on and on trust me if you have sense dont bother going to this location .
