I visited the branch with the intention of promptly paying my school tuition fee. However, upon my initial visit, the front desk attendant declined assistance, citing the absence of an appointment. Consequently, I requested her to schedule an appointment for me, leading to my return the following day.Upon my return with a scheduled appointment, the same attendant declined assistance again, asserting that I lacked a Social Security number, thereby preventing her from facilitating any domestic wire transfer payments. As a student, I had transferred all my funds to my American bank account, necessitating payment of my tuition fee exclusively from this account.Seeking clarification, I contacted Citizens Bank customer service, where I was informed by a helpful gentleman that I could conveniently make the payment through the Citizens mobile bank application on my phone. This contradicted the information provided by the branch attendant, causing significant stress due to the misinformation and guidance provided.I am perplexed about the competence of the branch attendant, as her guidance appeared to lack accuracy, leading to unnecessary complications and stress. It raises concerns about her qualifications for the role, as her actions seem to suggest a lack of educational background.

This is the worse citizens bank. I came 2 saturdays 20 minutes to 12:00 PM and everytime i come the security tells me they are closed. I tell him that they close at 12 How is it possible that they are closed if its not 12 and then he tells me the system is down but its every saturday when I come he says the same story. Whats the point of having it open until 12 if the employees dont want to work and This is just a waste of time for me. You should take a look into this issue as its always the same story.

They're no help at all over the phone. When I tried to ask a simple question to the branch employee who answered, I couldn't even get a word in and was told to call the 1-800 number. I couldn't reach a live human being to ask a question there either. I am considering closing my account and taking my money elsewhere.

WORST. BANK. EVER. Avoid at all costs. Most frustrating and incompetent bank I've ever dealt with. My father had a HELOC and a checking account at Citizens Bank, and when he passed away, I paid off the HELOC and tried to close the accounts. I am my father's executor and I have all the documents (death certificate, letters of authority etc) to prove it. I live in CA and they have no branches here so I have to do it by phone. I've had many, many phone calls with them and every time I get a different story and they ask me for something new. I've sent in the info they requested by physical mail, email and fax, but they still won't close the accounts. It's a nightmare. And whenever you send them any new information, it takes several weeks to get posted in their system.

The most disappointing bank staff I got is here! Not mean all. I ordered cash withdrawal $2k plus but and left hurry to send it for a family emergency. of It was short of $50 when I counted manually and with cash counter! I will never visit that branch and never recommend for anyone! I feel as if stolen from my pcket!

If you want to be disrespected by females speaking in front of you about your account in foreign languages while not servicing your requests, come on down. If you want to sit and wait for personal conversations to be over before staff members handle clients, this is the spot for you. If you appreciate being disrespected or are in the mood for waiting to obtain your funds this is the location you should stop at.

The staff was fantastic they treat you like you're their best friend however citizens the bank could use a makeover like the downtown branch offices the staff in Roxbury deserves much better

today we were with my husband in this bank; trying to solve inconvenience and a sweet lady named Karina helped us and with a lot of professionalism. My husband and I are very happy and grateful for the service they gave us!
