Carmel Movers made the entire moving process so easy. The office support was great before the move and the movers were also great! They were right on time, packed up everything and moved everything into our new place quickly but carefully, on both ends. And they were so helpful with whatever we asked them to do. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

This was my first move with Carmel Movers and I will never use them again nor recommend them to others. I engaged them for an in-state move at the recommendation of my neighbor. I paid them to pack my dining room and kitchen as well as move furniture and boxes I packed myself. I paid in full before the move and tipped the team well. I found it odd that they did not inventory the boxes as other movers do. They loaded most of my things on the truck the first day, finished loading and delivered on day two.
It took me ten days to unpack everything. I then notified them of a missing box with my silver and a few other items from the dining room. They said they would investigate. They never followed-up. I reached out repeatedly via email with no response. When I communicated that I was going to write this review, they put me in touch with their insurance company which told me their policy does not cover damaged or lost items. Unbelievable! I have worked with 4 other movers in the past 10 years where lost boxes were compensated and a damaged table was repaired. It is six months past the move and no further response has been made. Buyer beware! If you choose to work with them, get the terms of loss and damage in writing up front, or better yet, choose another mover!

Carmel Movers are fantastic! Ivan and the team at Carmel have done 4 moves for us in the last year. Moving furniture out and into storage for a renovation in our MA home and then returning it in great condition. Moving our college-aged daughter out of her apartment in VT, storing her furniture in MA and then moving it into her new apartment in VT. Lots of complicated logistics were handled smoothly and professionally. All the furniture was wrapped and carefully loaded. All the boxes here handled with care. Two different teams did the moves (one led by Hector and coincidentally the second one led by another mover named Hector-last initial M.) Both teams of 2 men arrived on time for each move, worked efficiently and left us feeling very confident that our belongings were in safe hands. Moving is incredibly stressful and Carmel Movers made it easy, seamless, and affordable!

From start to finish - intake, initial home visit, help with donations, prompt arrival of moving trucks, a mover who literally sometimes ran up and down stairs with boxes - all in oppressive heat for a full 12 hours. A truly excellent experience all around for a totally reasonable price. Thank you Ivan, Vivo, Roberto, Oscar, and the younger “runners” for incredible customer service.

Amazing customer service. Ivan is extremely friendly in helping us set up the move to following up afterwards. There were 4 guys that helped us with all out moving needs. They even helped us pack a room full of stuff. The day of the move it rained and thunderstormed, they kept on going despite the weather. They were extremely professional! We couldn’t have done it without them. This is our second move with them and will definitely hire them again in a heartbeat!

My move with Carmel Movers went very smoothly. The guys were great, very professional and took great care of my furniture and house. Carmel movers were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. Ivan was great with getting me a quote quickly and booking the move when I decided to go with them. The day of the move, Ricardo and his team showed up on time, they were incredibly nice and careful with our belongings, and they moved SO quickly. We even ended up asking them to reconstruct part of our couch that we did not initially plan to, and they still worked faster than what we were quoted for. 5 stars all around from start to finish with Carmel

Carmel is the only company to consider when moving. They are professional, knowledgeable and go the extra steps to ensure that your property is well protected. I have used them twice in recent months, most recently this past Thursday, a rainy day. Upon arrival, Melvin and his crew mate had my furniture completely wrapped and on the truck within a half hour. The recipient was thrilled with the offload and Carmel will be used again once the furniture is refinished. If you value your property, Carmel is the one and only company to use. They rock!
