I was prepared to pay the $15.99 as I did not put gas in and drove less that 75 miles, 35 to be exact. They marked completely wrong mileage stating that I drove 131 miles and charged me $36.99. I have photos and contacted support - we'll see.

Can't confirm the bad reviews. Helpful and friendly staff, I was out the door with the keys in less than 5 Minutes. The cars interior was "clean enough" for the price.

Been to this location a few times and the last two times were the best. DJ and Brittany went above and beyond on 2 different occasions. Highly recommend this location because of these amazing staff. Walked in and line was long but Brittany was able to attend to everyone quickly and efficiently. Don’t usually do reviews but I definitely had to due to wonderful service provided.

Didn't even rent from this location. Called by accident thinking I was calling the harbor location nearby. The lady had an attitude from the start. Never even bothered to ask my name or reservation just total attitude about not having a night drop. And made it very clear she would not be there one minute after 6:00 if I was going to try and make it. Glad the other Budget places I frequently use aren't like this.

BUYER BEWARE! Do not rent from this location if possible. Take a photo of the odometer and the FUEL GAGE BEFORE you leave the garage. Our paperwork said the tank was full, but it was only at 3/4. It's a pain to go back upstairs to the office but they will try to cheat you out of about $70 for the difference in gas if you don't go back in and get the paperwork corrected. Aside from that, our car was not cleaned between customers- It was filthy, both inside and out. Opened Gatorade bottle under the seat, phone charger left behind by customer, spilled drink in the cup holder. Mud and dirt all over the outside. Corporate needs to come in and review who they are hiring to fill fuel tanks and clean the cars. This location and its dishonest employee(s) is costing Budget loyal customers. I will be informing them and Costco Travel of this issue, even though it probably won't change anything.

If you want to be treated like a 2nd class citizen come on down to this location. I rented my car from the Ft Lauderdale airport location on 4/11/23 and recieved excellent customer service like always. But returning the car yesterday at Boston seaport location was a complete nightmare. There was only one agent there working when I tried to open the door at 5:45 it was locked. When she did come to the door to unlock it she had the worst attitude ever! I could see she wanted to get out of there because her child kept yelling and screaming to lock up andgo home. So with her child yelling and screaming and her just holding the door just enough for her to stand(she didn't let me in the store) I felt this was very unprofessional. She didn't give clear directions on how to return the car. Please note this is not a normal return location. In order to return the car you have to drive to the next block and get a parking ticket, drive all the way down to the last level then take a picture of the car and where you parked it then take the elevator all the way back then find the budget store front. Make sure you give yourself enough time to do all that because they don't tell you all this, you're on your own to figure it out. A lot happened with this agent on shift last night and my experience with this seaport location was a complete nightmare! This agent should not be in customer service at all, I'm prettty sure all those bad reviews above mine are all for the same agent. Good luck to all of you if you are renting your rental at this location. Make sure you give yourself at least 40 mins before closing time or else she will close the door on the dot even if you asked her to give you 2 extra minutes.

If I could give zero stars I would. This was my worst rental experience in my entire life and I travel a lot.Was there for a seafood convention and need it a car to go to NYC.The woman behind the counter was not friendly or helpful at all. She told us to use the website to rent a car then was very rude when I asked her to help me so I don't make a mistake with a returning location.She kept on saying that the cars are sold out when it was showing pretty decent inventory online to choose from.I'm not sure why is she working in a car rental when she definitely does not want to rent cars and will do anything possible to make you feel uncomfortable.I hope that the company will hire some professional representatives for this location.I would never go back

Unprofessional representative and awful customer service by Tiffany. Always take pictures of vehicle at pickup and drop off in order to have proof of any false claims by this location.

I was very disappointed that this place doesn't have a after hour drop off. If I would have known that I would have definitely rented from some where else. The reason for no after hour drop off is theft, which okay I get but maybe try to find a way to find away around if instead of cutting the service off completely. It's a ashamed because the price is so much better than the airport but the convenience is just not there. I wouldn't rent from them again, no one was rude or mean I just would have like better service in general. I hope they figure out a way for the drop off because it would definitely be good.

Returning the car was a nightmare! They did not do a walk around. The lady at the desk was so rude. The lady did not close out that I returned the car. Had to call customer service. Do Not Rent from here!

It has taken me a while to write this review because I was shocked at how much it cost me to rental a vehicle for 2 days. However, I’m writing because too many good deeds go unmentioned. I came into town for the weekend to help my daughter move who is a college student in Boston. I came in on Friday and my ticket was booked to leave on a very early morning flight Sunday during the hours that Budget would be closed. Ms. Diane Digracomo allowed me to leave the vehicle at another Budget in Boston with a dropbox to prevent my daughter from having to find a way to bring the keys back after I was gone. I greatly appreciate her kindness. Didn’t like the cost of the rental but her kindness and generosity allowed me to “get over” the money spent. This is my way to say thank you Ms Digracomo

Friendly and helpful staff at the office and in the garage. Just make sure to memorize the way to get to the cars… the garage is pretty large and “E6” is not row E in the garage but a spot on P3 in the orange area which has different letters itself :)

The women working in the customer centre was late and had not arrived at work, on the day we picked up AND dropped off the vehicle. Luckily, the Budget/Avis person working in the garage came upstairs to help out customers. He was very helpful. It seems the women that’s supposed to be working in the customer area is frequently late.The drop off was made worse by the fact this specific location DOES NOT offer an after hours drop off for your keys. We had a plane to catch, and had to try to find the Avis/budget person who was working on the returned cars in the garage to give him the key.AND when the location emailed me the final invoice a few hours after I dropped off the car, they charged me a ‘fuel service’ fee of approx $20, even though we had returned the car with a full tank of gas. Thankfully, I had taken photos of the gas gauge and mileage after parking the car. Eventually my call to the location was answered and they reversed the charge.OVERALL: lots of room for improvement in this location
