Called to verify if the physicians online showing "Accepting New Patients" was accurate. And the woman on the phone was extremely rude and nasty. She immediately had an attitude "Well are you going to tell me the doctors names or what". I politely gave the names and she cut me off "nope we aren't accepting new patients" and hung up.Hopefully anyone else trying to get a doctor here has a better experience.

It's everything you would expect from a Boston medical org: superior! Everyone, from the staff to the physicians, are truly topnotch. Incredible 1:1 service - I can contact my doctor or any other member of my "team" and receive a prompt response, and they're also very proactive, as well. Lab results are usually available the same day and all procedures are booked by them at the hospital, Mass General, which is just up the street (you don't have to hunt anyone down). While not all of the docs are taking on new patients, there are usually one or two who are; so, I highly recommend that you get in touch. The epitome of 5-star.

Now that my PCP is aware that have been and am quite ill, the whole team/each department scheduled 5 exams within a matter of 2 weeks (all since Monday's first one). Since they have joined with Brigham & Women's, Mass General is WAY busier. Now, tests, procedures, CTs, PETs, MRIs are mainly scheduled at satellite or various locations. The good thing for people who (unfortunately) use apps for everything these days, is that I can see all of the details of each appointment, view my medical chart, message my doctors via the app & get prompt responses. They also do Zoom meetings if you are physically in the state of MA at the time of the meeting. (Only certain departments do & others say it is prohibited.). Appointments are more on schedule nowadays due to COVID changes. Once I waited for an appointment with one of my surgeons for 3.5 hours. Can't believe I let him do that surgery & now I literally have a loose screw. LOL. Oh, P.S. It is basically impossible to get a PCP at MassBrigham nowadays (maybe a 2 year wait.). Worth getting on the waiting list as they've saved my life at least 3x so far. Cheers.
