Went to this dealer to buy a used model that was posted online. Wow, what a terrible, days-long customer experience. They used high pressure scare tactics in the backroom, methods from the 1970s. Tried hard to push unnecessary and expensive warranties, with all kinds of warnings about the folly to not do these, forcing many refusals from us, which were ignored. Except for the backroom chat, for which they seem to have plenty of time, they rushed through the entire process and gave very little time to see a mechanic or get cash together for the purchase. After getting rushed for an inspection with a local mechanic, which required time off from work to accommodate the tight schedule, the paperwork was full of errors including not subtracting the deposit we'd made and how to spell our last name correctly (maybe stop rushing and get less sloppy?). Bottom line: after paying for an inspection by a mechanic, paying a deposit and signing paperwork, with regular email communications that we were planning to purchase, they put the car back on the lot before we could complete the payment, most likely because we didn't cave to the warranty pressure. Car had been sitting on the lot over a month before we started the process, so why not wait two more days for a sure thing. Complete waste of valuable time and money. Avoid and go to another Volvo dealer (recommend Bernardi Volvo, in Natick -- they push warranties too, but are more professional with overall better vibe).

Extremely dissatisfied/disappointed with our service warranty experience. We were given a the impression that the Volvo VIP Warranty Service would be a good investment at the time of our purchase of a used 2017 XC 90 (40,000 miles) in 2020. Since we purchased the car we have had 3 service bills that were not covered by the warranty (A $700 hood issue that caused rain to leak into the passenger side, a phantom $200+ charge for "software updates" , and now more recently a seatbelt repair that totaled $1,300 ) none of which was covered by our warranty. Do not fall for any high pressure tactics the $5,000 we spent for this product was a complete waste.On our more recent experience with the seatbelt repair, after driving home from the dealer, we realized the service team didn't bother putting back the trunk side panel and left remaining parts in the back of our car. Mind you that we were given the car back a day later from the day that we were originally slotted to receive the car.I relayed feedback to Volvo about the lack of execution and asked for an email address to send pictures to so that I could understand what to do with the parts and ensure the repair was finished. They said that they would have someone call immediately, we have not received a prompt response and it has been now over 48hours since the initial response from Volvo.Better off avoiding this dealership entirely if you're a Volvo owner and take your service business elsewhere.

Rachel was terrific to work with. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicles and made the process very smooth. Communication from both Rachel and her business manager were terrific. They were able to arrange a dealer swap for the exact car I wanted. Boston Volvo came recommended from two of my colleagues, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The whole team, from Kathy at the front desk, our sales rep Jeff Lowre, the manager Josh and finance person Jackie; all assisted us in a very welcoming personalized manner. The office facility was beautiful and the selection of vehicles was great. We got exactly what we were looking for in our next vehicle and couldn't be happier with it for our family. I have been using this dealership for MANY years. I have received about 8 different vehicles over the years. I like dealing with them. Service is always helpful. Sales is always great to deal with. I have worked with 6 or 7 different sales reps and they were all accommodating.

My car was damaged by one of your techs and I can’t even get a manager to return my phone calls, and still don’t have my car back after 3 weeks. I left a message for the service manager in august 30 and never heard back.The general manager reached out to me Monday 9/11 and has been very kind and helpful in getting this issue resolved. I’m feeling better now that I’ve spoken to someone in management and have assurance that the repairs will be completed and any damage Will be covered.

I had been searching and test driving for a new car for over six months. I was in a terrible head on accident as the passenger so safety was my main concern. Each and every time I came back to the Volvo XC90. I was in love! I am from Randolph, about 20 mins south of Boston. I found online the exact color both inside and out on Boston Volvos site. I made a quick call and had an appt to come in to test drive her. Jeff in sales was top notch! I told him what I was looking for, colors, options the works! I tend to be a person that asks a lot of questions, I was thrilled to find out he has his family in a XC90 as well! It made me very comfortable knowing the guy selling to me drove the same one! The sale went thru without a hitch! Everyone at this dealership were kind and extremely helpful! I will most definitely be back again! Ask for my guy Jeff! He rocks! ?

The service here has gone so far downhill that the mechanics and valets openly complain about the manager, who everyone hopes will quit after a trip to CA this weekend. We brought our volvo in because it had a flat tire, and they just moved the tire from the back to the front and filled it with air. It is impossible to get a loaner, and even when you have an appointment they dont even look at your car. DO NOT BUY A VOLVO FROM HERE! The extra warranty is a bunch of BS. Liars, scammers, and scumbags.

Just had our car serviced. Have been once before due to a flat tire. The team are incredible: kept me up to date via text about progress of work, incredible brand new loaner car and everything done very quickly and skillfully. I had a scheduling issue and needed to drop off early and John was super accommodating and let me know the best time to drop off the day before and still was able to arrange a loaner car for me. Will definitely be returning. Thank you, John, and Boston Volvo for taking such good care of our car (and family)!
