Understand your strict policy!? Huh? I understand doing right by your customers which is how I run my business. John Elliott has a very strict policy and I called their Soho store and they made an exception and I sent the clothes back and they gave me a credit to buy other things that would actually fit me. I took a risk buying some very expensive clothing not seeing the fine print, and all I wanted was a credit to buy stuff that will fit me now I am stuck with this material. Shame on you people.
BEWARE this company is fraudulent and dishonest. They refuse to process returns and have the most awful customer service. They have no human beings to communicate and do not answer the phone. Be very careful.

Would like to express that I‘m really disappointed with the customer service after going in person at their Boston location.The store has changed so much over the years and it really feels like the staff isn’t what it used to ?.

Terrible customer service. Another hype brand who can't handle the amount of business they generate and give out subpar solutions when they make mistakes. Do yourself a favor and shop at any other store.I ordered a jersey online and they sent me basketball shorts? Obviously this is frustrating, but 99% of companies I've shopped with would instantly ship out the correct product. That's totally their fault. After asking for the correct item I ordered, they gave me the most unsatisfactory response. They told me I could keep the item and get refunded 15% or get a free "shipping label" and get a full refund. So I still have to spend time and money on a box to send this back to them after they messed up? Time is money and y'all are wasting both for me. Take accountability. They also said they couldn't just send me the original item I paid for because they needed a "paper trail." How about the original order I placed as your paper trail? It's not unreasonable to want the thing I paid hard earned money for without jumping through hoops to get it because the company I ordered from is incompetent. It's on you to make it right, not me to work harder for something I paid you to do.

Visiting from CT. This place was top store on my list. Just Ubered there and it’s closed. Online says it’s open. It’s 230pm on a Thursday. Frustrating!

The overall look of the store was spot on I loved it looked amazing I just wish the employees at least had some enthusiasm they looked as if they'd rather be anywhere else. And when I tried taking pictures I was told not to take pictures of the entrance because of it being kept private look I would understand if there weren't already pictures and videos of that entrance and I was nowhere near that area taking pictures overall just a terrible experience the only downer during my trip to Boston and this is coming from someone who loves the bodega brand I never had any issues with deliveries but that experience left a bad taste.

I ordered five items from their online store, and two were refunded over the following week due to stocking issues. When I received my order, an item was incorrect, and I was offered a 15% discount to keep the item or a full refund if it was returned, but no option to receive the item I had originally ordered.

I placed this order what ahead of time. Great sale on merchandise then all of a sudden no progress on fulfilling the order. They wait until the 10th day to reach out and item is unavailable meanwhile I jumped on this item initially.
Basically screwed me on the items what I wanted by just saying oops we sold your item to someone else and made me wait for nothing! Not good business at all..I’m done with them for good!

All I can say is, all the reviews regarding the negative online experience are true. I thought maybe "eh, these negative review folks are over dramatic", but as an online retailer, they absolutely do not care about your customer experience. Would highly recommend you shop at another stockist, it's just not worth it dealing with these guys, even if they have what you want.
