The performers were clearly having a good time, but most of them did not seem to take the music seriously. When the MC says over and over, "these are some of the best musicians in the world..." There's is something wrong. If they are really great, it doesn't have to be said.

An outstanding venue! We have never seen a bad show here. The acoustics are excellent, and the choice of performers is world class. We lived down the street from Berklee when I was in my 30s (we have since moved), but each time we visit Boston, we make a point of seeing something at the Berklee performance center. And it is always the highlight of our trip!!
The latest performance we saw was in March of this year and featured Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, and Bass Extremes. The room was vibrating with energy. So fortunate to have this performance center and the school itself in Boston.

I recently attended the 38th Annual International Folk Festival at Berklee Performance Center in Boston, MA, and it was an unforgettable experience! The venue itself is fantastic, with excellent acoustics, a great stage, and comfortable seating. The diverse lineup of artists showcased the beauty of folk music from around the world, making it a mind blowing and thoroughly enjoyable event. I highly recommend Berklee Performance Center for anyone looking to immerse themselves in exceptional live performances. A must-visit for music lovers!

No bargain prices. No leg room. No concessions on a Saturday night. On the Mezzanine. Good view of the stage though. Hope the performance is good.

Nice performance hall, but only one level with a slight grade in the floor, progressively declining towards the stage. If you’re seated in the back, it can be hard to see everything going on the stage at times. That said, great little intimate performance venue.

A pretty good room for live music. Even though it's deep and narrow, the acoustical design and reinforcement system make up for it. Very helpful staff, too!
