John at Baystate Express is fantastic. They came as a recommendation from an antique furniture dealer who I purchased from. I have since used them of several other items and the service was quick, curious and delivered safe. They cover the eastern sea board to Texas which is perfect for my business. I will definitely be using them ore in the future.

A+A+A+ Service was excellent! After I purchased my chair The delivery man always kept in contact with me to let me know when the exact time my chair would be delivered. He came on time and was very professional. The chair was wrapped with care in a padded blanket. The delivery man unwrapped the chair and put the chair exactly where I wanted it. From the beginning to end I was

Baystate Express delivered a vintage china cabinet that I bought from Etsy on May 5th. I was given a delivery estimate of 3-6 weeks by the seller. A few days later, the Etsy seller told me that Baystate had picked up the cabinet, and that they would contact me once they'd finished their delivery schedule for my area. I got a text on 5/16 to schedule delivery for Sunday afternoon, after they confirmed I'd be home.
On delivery day, they texted me several times with updated ETAs. The two delivery men were polite, efficient, and treated my china cabinet with care. I am very happy with the service provided.

Rude, inefficient, irresponsible, disrespectful, and inconsiderate business. It took multiple unanswered phone calls and text messages for the item to finally be picked up; it took over a month, to be more specific. They were contracted by the furniture company we did business with. Phone calls were never answered, and the text messages were incomplete responses with no customer service. They rescheduled the item pick up multiple times, including canceling pick-up 2 hours before the rescheduled pick up time - they did not care that we had to take time off work to accommodate this pickup time window, and they did not even offer an apology or explanation as to why. When they finally picked up the item, the driver showed up with a minor to help him pack the item, did not speak to us, and left the apartment door wide open without letting us he was done on his way out. I should add that he pointed to a form and a pen, non-verbally asking us to sign the document. Furthermore, he seemed annoyed that we wanted to read the form we needed to sign before signing it. These are merely examples of the type of business you will be engaging with if you chose to do business with them.

I hired them to ship a dining table for NYC to Beverly Hills, CA and the service was top notch. Good communication, and my table arrived in excellent condition. I found Baystate on Uship and used their services to transport my 1 bedroom apt across the country from Connecticut to California. John is a very hard worker and packed out my apt in record time by himself. He came between the ETA he provided which was about a 2 hour range both for pick-up and drop off. He packed in my apt in record time when he arrived to California, with some assistance this time so was even faster. Some of my larger and more delicate items were wrapped up with a blanket type material which was helpful. There was some minor damage to a sofa for which he compensated me when I requested. I know some minor damage can be expected with moves. No extreme levels of damage. He also made it clear what to be expected with certain types of furniture during the travel. Some cheaper types of furniture (like cheap bookcases) don't hold up well doing travel, which was the case for one that I had so that was good to get some anticipatory guidance on that. I do like prompt responses so that was my only issue that sometimes would be waiting for a response for a while but all the information I needed was provided in time. Overall, pretty good experience with this company. Plan to use them again!

John was very responsive when sending quote and invoice. Right after that, it became a different story. You might be able to see on the pictures how he has been extremely performant at destroying a $4000 antique chair. He delivered it 6 weeks behind schedule, always told me that I should trust him, and finally delivered a broken chair to my client without telling me anything. Probably thinking that he could get away with it and the insurance that, I assume he doen'st have..He obviously doesn't recognized the damages. This gonna end in court.

Be forewarned, you're taking a huge risk if you use Baystate Express. The owner was super communicative until I accepted his bid and my credit card was charged. Then, radio silence. He never answered my calls, and did not show up or call on the pickup date we agreed on. The next day, his phone was disconnected when. I ended up cancelling the shipment through the third party website I used. Then he started sending me a series of angry texts claiming I needed to pay him a cancellation fee. This is a borderline scam.
