Walked all the way over there during their business hours on Google Maps. Place was closed with a blank store hours sign on the door. Wasted my time.

Stop by to ask questions about silver and was told they closed in 45 minutes and he was ready to go home. I asked about coming by the next day and he said he was taking the day off. And quote, “I am 67 years old and too old to be doing this anymore, go find somewhere else” I’m not kidding. That’s literally what he told me. Owner is clearly not worried about running a business… Edit: I called back, answered with “leaving in 2 min (it was 4:27) what do you want?” I asked his name, it was Andy!

This place is great and the man is kind. It is just a bit pricey. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

I stopped in there today to ask questions about coins from 1940,1930, and 1920 and the owner was rude in the way he talked to me I felt very rushed. Needless to say I only got to the 1940 coins and he said nothing I have was valuable before I could show anything else and walked off to the next person. Then he say to me as I picked my coins he said I can spot value from a mile away. I said I do have older coins from the 1920s, he asked to see them I declined and said I will not be rushed and made to feel bad Because I do not feel like you value you're customers.
I will not be back at all and do not recommend.

I went in there last week 5/2/24. Looking to sell 3 coins (All three were AMERICAN SILVER EAGLES ) 1 he wasn’t interested in,but the other 2 ( 2011 & 1994 proof eagle with original box and paper) he offered me 30.00 for the proof and 20.00 for the 2011.. Spot silver was at 27 and some change that day .. I gave him a look and said I’m allset.. anybody that knows anything about coins knows that that 1994 proof silver eagle was a very limited mintage that year and it’s worth at least $80-$90 not certified which mine isn’t he says to me well how much would you want for it? I said i would want at least $70 for it ,and he standing there and he’s holding the coin looking at it. He said no I can’t do that.. I said you know what I’m all set. You have a nice day the audacity of him to try to rip me off like that… I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW THATS A COLLECTOR TO STAY CLEAR!

I found that this dealer is more friendly than your average dealer. This is a good place to buy, as I noticed that they have a good selection of coins.

Very nice little shop. They were friendly and helpful with the questions that I had. They didn’t have anything that I was looking for but it’s worth a visit for any collectors.

Andy was kind and helpful and I walked away with some neat Pokemon and basketball cards. The store itself is super cute with lots of collectibles and trinkets (coins, baseball cards, hockey cards, campaign buttons, figurines, watches etc.) to sift through. Cash only, so I had to use the BofA ATM down the street.

I have known Andy for over 40 years, when my company was based in Boston (until 1982).He has always been the reasonable, frazzled, friendly "corner coin shop" owner while my outfit went on to the be the biggest in the world. Yet, when my path takes me to Boston, the time melts away, and we talk about old times, and if he has the odd coin or two I think we (Heritage, HA.com) can use, be it a transaction of $250 or into five figures, it's always a pleasure to do what we can in that little store's relaxed, semi-chaotic, old-fashioned atmosphere. If there's anything at all I could complain about, it's that he is too friendly with strangers who walk in and waste his time for 10 minutes on some useless question. But Andy is just too nice to tell them to get lost, and it's not a bad thing that there are shop owners still out there who are willing to value politeness over money.

What a wonderful shop. Andy was a pleasure to meet. So much to see here. Bought a Morgan Silver Dollar here and the price was very reasonable.
