This is a great location. It's very quiet with some nice neighborhoods within walking distance. While it's not in the heart of Boston you can easily walk to the MBTA bus station nearby and take a quick bus to any number of subway stations. From there you can get just about anywhere.
The service at the hotel was great. They instituted a daily destination fee (becoming more and more common) after we booked our stay and were informed we had to pay it upon check-in. We got in late and I didn't feel like protesting but the next morning when I brought it up at the front desk they removed it from our bill. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
The biggest downside is the design of the room. There were no overhead lights in our room so even with the nightstand lights and the bathroom lights on and the blinds open the room was very dark. The closet design made no sense. It's an open closet in the bathroom and the bar for the hangers was hung from the back of the closet to the front meaning all of your clothes were in a row facing you -- not very conducive to picking out shirts, etc.
Also, the room could've used some detailed cleaning in between visits. The buttons on the phone had some black gunk on them -- a bit surprising post-COVID. Normally, I wouldn't touch the phones but we had to call down for extra towels even though I asked for them when I made our reservation.

First time staying at an Aloft hotel. The lobby was nice and the check-in process was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The "market" items for purchase could use a few more hearty late night options.
This hotel is right across the street from the convention center which was convenient as I was here for a conference. It's a relatively easy walk to get other stuff in the area.
My only real complaint is the noise. The room I was in had paper thin walls, I could hear every conversation happening in the hallway, in adjoining rooms and every time someone above me dropped something, etc...Also, although I couldn't hear the elevator going up and down, I could hear the dinging of the elevator throughout the night. Finally, the planes taking off and landing at all hours at BOS was pretty loud. In general, I didn't get great sleep. Also, please put up some clothes/coat hooks. The only hook was a single hook in the bathroom. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable.

The front office manager, Kasner Myrie, was extremely helpful during our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay went smoothly. Thank you!!
Nearby activities: Super close to the convention center- which is where we needed to be- so this location was great!

So this was not a great hotel. I have been to other alofts and expected so much more. The room was dirty as there were mounds of dust, had holes every where, the sheets weren't clean and my earbuds were stolen literally as I checked in looking for my ID. No one ever looked for it, looked at footage or anything. I was just told, keep checking to see if someone turned them in. The area is great but for what this hotel charges and the shape it's in.. Go somewhere else. Room was on the 5th floor.
Rooms: Dirty
Safety: Items stolen at check in

I had a great stay at this hotel! The immediate vibe you get when you walk in is one that is relaxed and warm. The lobby and general facilities were in pristine condition and the rooms were tastefully decorated. Even the elevators were impressive, moving quickly and efficiently.
The front staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The bartenders were friendly and served great drinks.
Plus, the hotel's location in Boston's Seaport District made it easy to explore the city's waterfront area. I highly recommend this hotel for an exceptional experience!

Overall, a total failure! Rooms are nice. But they are unrelated. Parking costs $54 per day, very expensive. And the cherry on top is a “destination fee” of $25 per day, which is simply charged to you. You can drink some of it in the hotel bar. If you don't do this, the amount will still be debited.
Absolute rip off!

I am sitting at the bar having a drink talking to my wife on the phone. A gentleman sits down next to me probably about 150 pounds and the chair breaks underneath him. I get up to help him up. I look up the , the bartender is on her on her phone and then proceeds to continue to make a drink for another couple without ever responding to this man. Now I have made eye contact with this bartender so I know she saw what has happened. I called her out on the fact that she did not check on the man. She claimed she was texting her manager. Regardless, she should've checked on the man first. After I call her out on not checking on the man, she looked at me and asked me if I would like to close out my tab, that was her response to me. The manager finally arrives and I speak to the manager about the bartenders response to the gentlemen. The manager tries to then tell me that I'm yelling at her and she cannot continue with this conversation. I just naturally talk loudly. I told her that I'm not allowing her to deflect and put this on me. This is just the way I talk. She then backs down and we have a conversation. I explained her what happened and how the bartenders response to the customer was inappropriate. The bartender from across the bar says that I threw the chair. I told the manager that was either a lie or complete exaggeration. I told her I picked up the parts of the chair, so no one else would trip on them, walked to the side of the bar And dropped them from a standing position. That is not throwing. after I spoke with the manager and the manager spoke with the gentleman involved, she did not offer him anything. Basically she was covering liability and that was it. She did not offer him points. she did not offer him a free drink. She said you're not hurt, I don't care. Customer service at this hotel sucks. I highly recommend you avoid this place and go somewhere else if you're looking for good customer service. I stay in Marriott wherever I travel I will never come back here.

The pipe decor was interesting. Unfortunately with where we were located we heard all kinds of mechanical things up on the 13th floor. Water moving. Elevator maybe? Who knows. It took a long time for me to fall asleep with the racket.
The room was fine. It was clean. The bathroom shower needs to be water proofed and the handle for the shower was a bit loose. Otherwise, no issues.

It’s not in the middle of everything but definitely close enough to walk to get to the areas you want to. Facilities were clean, nice indoor pool: everything you need for a nice stay.

This place really only works if you're a morning person. Flights from Logan take off and fly right over the building. Be prepared to wake up early ?

My stay at the Aloft Hotel in Boston's Seaport district was truly excellent. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's unique hipster vibe, unlike anything I had experienced before. The fun and relaxed atmosphere set the tone for a memorable stay, and the staff, while laid-back, were incredibly helpful and attentive.
We stayed in a handicap room, and I was pleased to find that there was ample space for us to move around comfortably. One feature that stood out to me was the elevator system. I have a fear of heights, so I appreciated that you simply input your floor number into the keypad, and the elevator automatically directs you to the correct floor without any additional buttons to push. This simple yet effective system ensured that we arrived at our floor smoothly and without any unexpected detours, a feature that I found particularly reassuring.
Overall, our stay at the Aloft Hotel was a delight. The combination of the hotel's unique vibe, friendly staff, and thoughtful amenities made for a truly enjoyable experience. The only downfall was the location in the Seaport district, where all hotels were significantly more expensive than what we had typically paid in the past. While the Aloft Hotel may have been one of the more affordable options in the area, it was still quite pricey. Despite this, I would still recommend the hotel for its fantastic atmosphere and excellent service.

Great hotel for the prices, amenities are clean and easy to access. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The woman who checked us in was so sweet and offered us some quick tips about where to walk and explore. She really made the night special with her notes and I would definitely recommend this hotel for a quick trip. There’s not much in the immediate area but if you have a car or don’t mind walking, you’ll have a great experience.

The hotel's amenities, including the fitness center and the bar, added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Boston!

Enjoyed the stay. The room was clean. The bar did close a little early. Service was okay. The Breakfast ordering and food handoff was strange.
Great stay over all. I would stay again.
Rooms: The rooms are nice. The window looking into the shower is a little strange. Over all not bad.
Walkability: A short walk to Tony's C or few other places.
Food and drinks: Food menu is small. Bar was nice.
