Aside from providing excellent dance lessons the young people from our community, 4 Star Dance Studio instills life lessons and values in our children. My daughter has been dancing at 4 Star since the age of 3 and has the pleasure of being trained by various celebrities in the dance world including Paula Abdul, Derek Hough, and Chloe Arnold. Their mission is to effectively teach students to achieve and prepare them for artistic excellence, and that’s exactly what they do. When you become a member of 4 Star, you join a loving family.

The only reason I gave this establishment 1 star is because it was the lowest I could pick. I have been attending a class with another company that was using this studio for the space ever since March 2017 and it was VERY unprofessional. I don't even know how this place is still opened after all these years. Our class never started on time and there were other people constantly interrupting our classes. We were an all female class and felt uncomfortable with random men walking in our classes or just standing up watching us. In the middle of the summer we had NO access to the AC (on purpose) but other members of other classes were told about the AC! We had to use the basement for one class and it was disgusting. No windows for ventilation there was food on the floor. A few class members Asthma flared up after being in that basement. There was also a substantial water leak. If parents knew their children were exercising/dancing in this place would they be happy. Go down stairs and take a look for yourself. The last straw was when the owner Rochell L. Chance abruptly ended class immediately after we started and NEVER gave us an explanation why. She then began to swear at the class attendees calling them "trash". This was all caught on video! I would NEVER EVER refer anyone to this dump. The owner is extremely rude and the customer service in general is appalling. The owner needs a lesson in manners! Very disrespectful. Oh yeah her daughter would videotape our classes and then incorporate the music we used and our dance moves into her own routine. If you want to be treated with respect and be in a clean environment, I suggest you stay far away from this place!

They do not answer the phone. They do not return a phone call and now the voicemail is full you can't leave a message. They have hours of operation on their door however the studio is NEVER open at the times listed. I was going here to support but they don't seem to want community support.

My 3 year old daughter goes here for dance and tap and she loves it! The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I've seen parents forget their child's dance shoes and the staff lets them borrow some, without complaining. Also, as long as your child isn't bothered by it, you can stay and watch! Alot of dance schools don't allow that.

I have been living in Boston for almost 3 years and this staff is one of the most professional ones I have come across. They go above and beyond for their students, are willing to work with working parents, and have push our children to their full potential. What I notice is a lot of parents get comfortable and want to interfere with the teachers which that in itself is unprofessional. If you feel as if you know better than the teachers, you can teach your children how to properly dance. In the two years of my daughter attending, she has been accepted to numerous internationally accredited dance summer intensive programs with scholarships. I have nothing but positive to say about the staff at 4Star and the prices are more than reasonable for the services they provide. GO 4STAR!!!

This studio is african american owned and their customer service skills are horrible which sucks for our culture. This is my daughters second year and she wont come back for a third. Some studios get to comfortable and they think that they can talk to their customers any kinda way I DONT recommend this studio i pay my money to treated with respect.
