“I brought my best friend in with a known CCL tear. We didn't want to put him through a huge surgery and then have to keep him medicated and quiet for several months. With the therapy and expert guidance given to us by the staff Oliver is back. He is playing, eating and acting like his old goofy self! The staff not only comforts the animal but helped me get through a few days with him when I was extremely worried about him. The facility is clean and state of the art. I had a concern with my orange doofus here where he had a lump on his neck (ended up being a HUGE tick) and the other vets in the area denied seeing him but, Leominster Animal Hospital was willing to see him right away without an account setup there! “My dog obsessively plays with tennis balls, and it had looked like her teeth were pretty badly worn down. She is also fear aggressive, so I was very nervous about going to a new place. Scheduling the appointment was easy. They also allowed us to do a same day consultation and procedure. They were very great with her reactivity and had us wait in an exam room until her procedure and were great for if we needed anything. We were able to come and go and my dog was able to go on multiple walks while we waited which she loved. She did end up getting her teeth pulled but the doctor was lovely about continually updating us with what they were doing. They are absolutely worth the price and I will be coming here again!”

My dog was having a minor medical concern that I wanted to have checked as soon as possible, and they were able to get us in as new patients in a little over a week. Dr. Brooks and the rest of the staff were so kind and listened to all of my concerns. They made my dog feel so comfortable and she had such an amazing time. Their services were very reasonably priced, and the facility was clean and beautiful. I will definitely be making appointments for my other pets to establish care. “I am an actual client of Harvard Family Pet Clinic and have been for 2 years. I can say that the misinformation being posted about Dr. Koretsky couldn’t be farther from the truth, and that the people leaving negative comments have not ever been to this clinic, nor do they even live in the same state.
I came on here to share my input as Dr. K is not only my veterinarian but she has become my friend in the 2 years that I have been her client, and it is hurtful to see people spreading lies about her and her business. Dr. Koretsky is an advocate for all animals, including service animals being used correctly. Since leaving my original review (below), I have adopted a second kitten and continue to go to Harvard Family Pet. In the years that I have known her, she has been nothing but a fantastic veterinarian, and I would not go anywhere else. The comments from my original review remain, and I also want to add that Dr. K takes the time on her days off to help me when I need assistance or have questions. I don’t know of anyone who has a veterinarian that they can contact on a day off and/or over the weekend, and get a fast response. I would give her 100/5 stars if I could!! She has done countless things outside of her normal business hours to ensure my pets are receiving the best care, and that is the type of person she actually is. I hope that anyone reading negative comments about the clinic will not let that deter them from choosing this clinic for their pets, and will listen to an actual client. My pets are literally my children and I would not trust anyone else with them. My cats are both healthy and thriving.
My original review is below:
I adopted my first kitten almost a year and a half ago, and chose this pet clinic because I was looking for a smaller practice. As a first-time cat mom, I had a million questions at the beginning, and still continue to have ongoing questions about the best way to care for my cat. He is my baby, and I always want to make sure I am doing the very best for him. Dr. K and Kayla have always been super helpful and patient with me. They always take the time to explain anything and everything to me, whether it is in-person, via email, or over the phone. I am experiencing a lot of things for the first time, so I like that they don't make me feel silly for asking questions, and are always available to make recommendations. I never feel rushed during appointments, as they take the necessary time to provide care and make sure any questions are explained. A few months back, I had an emergency with my cat and they were available to answer my questions after-hours, got me scheduled first thing the following morning, provided an emergency room referral, followed-up with the emergency vet, and handled my pet insurance claim (immediately). I am very happy with this pet clinic, and I feel that I would not get the same level of care at a larger facility. They are very prompt with getting back to me whenever needed, flexible with scheduling appointments, and have very fair prices. I trust them completely with the care for my baby, and I highly recommend this vet clinic!”

“Absolutely love coming here! Everyone is so nice and it’s so hard to find a place with staff versed in exotic care. We come here often for acupuncture for my senior rabbit approaching 11 and it’s been helping his arthritis stay at a minimum.”
