Tried to deposit money for my 83-year-old grandmother with her deposit slip/account information and was told that you can no longer deposit cash into an account unless it is your own or without a debit card… Very very strange, considering that is a big part of what banks are for lol Going to try to encourage her to switch, but definitely not inclusive for students or elderly who have people assisting sporadically with banking needs where you’re not on the account and situations like this. I use to work for a bank and we’d have parents deposit for their college kids constantly in their personal accounts! Wild that you can’t do that anymore at this bank.

I have two santander accounts... One opened in warwick RI 15 YEARS AGO.... 2nd in Brazil 4YEARS AGO...Today I am closing accounts...All because WITH MASS STATE ISSUED DRIVER'S LICENSE... Onriginal brach open address, ssn number, past addresses, security question answers, both checking & savings account numbers...I was told double verification standards can't be met and I am unable to withdraw 50.00...SO NOW DRIVING TO GET PASSPORT (DUAL id verification) TO EMPTY AND CLOSE ACCOUNTS...

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE BLACK. THE PEOPLE WORKING AT THIS LOCATION ARE EXTREMELY RACIST. I WILL NEVER BE BACK I GOT A BAD ATTITUDE FROM EVERYONE IN THAT BANK. IF THEY WERE MORE PROFESSIONAL I WOULD HAVE OPENED UP AN ACCOUNT.

Very bad bank to do business with. If you want to be pushed to open products that you don't want or need, feel free to bank with Santander. Upper management should be proud!

Just now I cash my first work check before direct deposit. I am not greeted when I cashed my check it took quite a while and the service was very quiet and slow yet I was the only customer at the teller window.

Absolute worst bank..incredibly unprofessional and incompetent. I opened an account and closed it less than two weeks later due to the amount of problems I dealt with in that short amount of time - banker didn’t know how to properly set up an account, couldn’t activate card or set up online banking due to their errors setting up the account, customer service was terrible when I called they took over a day to return my call and then they still couldn’t resolve the issues. Was back and forth with them on the phone constantly, and was never able to even use the account. Even worse, they didn’t put my address in correctly so all my mail from them (PIN number, checks, and debit card) was all being sent to my neighbor. Such a headache and a hassle.

I left here because the customer service was bad. Today my wife made me go here to open a savings account for two kids. An hour and forty minutes later, still waiting for them to finish up. It's been six months since I left, don't recognize a single teller, says it all.
