If I could give ZERO stars I would. Went in for ONE tire change, was very clear, even wrote it on the drop off slip. MIKE told us we needed the other back tire to be replaced. We said not this time but thank you for the warning. We came in to pick up our car and had both tires changed. OUT $600 when we were expecting $300. They are genuine scam artists. DO NOT GO HERE EVER

I’m sure they do great business here, but unfortunately I will never come back due to how rude the people working there are. I am new to the area and needed a state inspection so I called to ask how that works and and the first thing the man on the phone did was complain about how people come during lunch and asked me to not come at lunch. I respected that, so I came later in the afternoon when he asked and when I walked in before I could even finish my sentence the man interrupted me and just shook his head no. I told him I’m new to the area and asked if he knew anywhere else I could go and he just shrugged. Just don’t go here if you are new and need an inspection- you really shouldn’t be treating people who ask simple questions like they are an inconvenience .

Kudos to Mike, the owner of Bridge Street Auto. My mother got an oil change there and within days, oil was leaking. Since Bridge Street Auto was closed on the weekend I had to bring the car to another service station where they discovered that when the oil change was done, the mechanic accidentally (hey we're all human and we all make mistakes) did not tighten the filter inside the housing unit which caused the oil to leak . The service station cleaned up the oil, replaced the filter and oil. The charge including the labor was $250. I contacted Mike on Monday so that he was aware of what happened and how it cost us $250. Without any hesitation at all, his response was "bring me the receipt and I will take care of it".He reimbursed my mother the $250 and was so apologetic and kind. This is how a true business man should be. Thank you for stepping up and taking responsibility. Very professional guy.

They overprobed my truck trying to find what caused my rear lights to not function properly. A part that cost 75 dollars initially ended up costing $3,000 to fix what they made worse!

Brought my car to Bridge St auto with extensive front end damage due to hitting a raised manhole …. Had it towed there …. My first time having done any service to my car at Bridge St AutoMike was really really Professional the shops and garage are spotless and the worked he did was first class … totally satisfied and would recommend anybody to Bridge St !!??

I got my car back minus a very expensive Yeti Coffee mug. Don't leave anything of value in your car while Bridge Street Auto is fixing it. When I called to inquire about this I was made to feel insignificant and a bother.

This place is AMAZINGLY BAD. I went here once 10 years ago to get my car inspected, and the owner was unprofessionally rude.Vowed to never go again, even though I live close by and it would be convenient. Decade later, tried again, asked about getting an inspection, and the guy was incredibly rude all over again! Amazing! He actually was angry that I was trying to get an inspection, complaining that everbody comes in at lunch to get their cars inspected. I asked if later would work, and he (in a very annoyed voice) said they close from 1-2 for lunch, and then likely will close soon after. Awesome! I look forward to continuing to tell everybody I know (for another ten years, c'mon and go out of business already) to avoid this place like the plague! What a joke. Enjoy your one star, you've earned it!
