“Nan’s is one of my favorite places of all time. The sandwiches are sublime.I’m going to talk about the barn burner sandwich. I’m a chili head and I’ve had the hottest chilis in the world including the mutant ones. I can eat normal 5 out of 5 spicy things without noticing. I noticed the barn burner. Normally people say ghost chili and they think about putting it in and that’s all they do. I’m looking at you Wendy’s and Trader Joe’s. Ghost pepper is one of the grossest peppers I’ve had the privilege of tasting and Nan’s expertise has made it taste lovely.On to the heat. I’m going to give it a 3/5 on my heat scale. One on the heat scale for me is 5 vindaloo at an Indian restaurant that knows me. 5 is super hots like ghost pepper/Carolina reaper. I cried and ended up in the heat plateau. It took about 5-10 minutes to get to full force as is common with these types of peppers. It was delicious and full of flavor. As I meditated on the mesa of schoville mountain I looked at the summit and decided this was a nice place to be. I really like this sandwich and I really hope that enough people join me here in the vortex of pain to keep it on the menu. There are very few places where I can get actually hot food. This is actually hot. Please Nan’s keep this on the menu or have some way of special ordering this if not. I’m going to send out the chili signal to the other crazy people so wet can come and feast upon this sandwich.I sneezed and my face is still burning delightfully. I love this.”

“Since they have gone to bagging the veggies (3 peppers per bag), etc, I'm not as happy. Veggies/ fruits don't seem as fresh as before and it is so much nicer to pick the veggie/fruit you want. What about all the extra plastic that is producing and wasting on the environment??”
“Simple grocery store with a good selection of items/brands. Currently they're "working on some things" so there was a small section taped off due to a leak I assume and one of the lanes didn't have a working belt so customers had to shove their groceries forward as they were scanned.”
“While this is largely what you might come to expect from a local, small town Hispanic grocer,, What really blew me away was their Chicharrón and fried plantains. Simply the best Chicharrón I’ve found in the area.The lady working the counter was courteous and quick. She was actually very sweet. Anybody else in there was very friendly.I was literally in there, not more than an hour ago. And it was just a wonderful experience and I was very happy with what I got.”
“My husband and I shop here fairly regularly. The produce usually is fresh and the prices aren't a lot higher than other local grocery stores. I'm able to find a couple of things here that I can't get someplace else. An example is the blueberry filled muffins that my husband really enjoys. ? “Gaucho Meat Market is a little butcher/ convenience store on Central Street in Leominster. They also carry these freshly made Brazilian style croquettes and empanadas as well as Uruguay Style empanadas. I decided to try one of the Uruguay beef empanadas which was good, and this is a Brazilian Style ham and cheese croquette which was absolutely amazing. They have a nice unique hot sauce to put on them too. If you're ever in the area you have to stop in and try one!9.5”

“If you like beer this place has a really good selection for its small floor size. I don't know about their liquor or wine stock, but they have many local/craft beers in addition to the big name imported and American companies. Lots of New England IPAs and some cool sours. I've even seen some of the rare Yeungling varieties that other liquor stores never have.”

“BJ's gas usually has the best price but you have to be a member of the BJ's Club. There's this one in Hudson and the one in Northborough that are close to each other. unfortunately their gas prices are often different by as much as 10 cents. But either way their prices are almost lower than anywhere else”
