Mr. Marcou is delightful and so kind. I remember my dad used to bring me in here and it was always a wonderful time. He helped me with my watch recently and I was reminded about how great he is and same with his service. Thanks for everything.

Doug was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. I came into the store just to ask a question about cleaning a piece of jewelry with no intention of buying anything and he took his time to attentively, patiently and thoughtfully answer my questions as helpfully as possible. Thanks Doug!

Mr. Nickson,I must apologize for the experience your family had at my store. It is extremely uncommon from the usual care and respect I offer my customers. No excuse is good enough, I'm truly sorry. In an effort to explain the situation, my wife was about to undergo surgery and everything was tense and uncomfortable for me that day. Surgery is now behind us and what a relief I am feeling.If there is any way to repair things, come back in or call me please.Wishing you and your family peace and good health during the coming holiday season.

Mr Marcou and his sister were sharp, extremely nice and very helpful too. It is a very cute and charming small town mom & pop jewelry store. I highly recommend this place. I was reading the review from a few days ago and that's shocking only because of how we were treated so well. He or she must have had a bad day that day, we all have them sometimes, I think. I say give them another visit. Stay well!

I normally don't review, but my wife and young daughter's experience with the owner of this store was so exceptional I am compelled to share. I spoke to the store owner about buying a diamond eternity ring for my wife. I sent my wife to the store the following week to get sized. She was HORRIFIED by the owner's attitude. My wife went to the store with my 8 year old daughter and asked for a ring size. Before she could explain why, he "chased her out of the store" (my wife's words) very angrily questioning her motivation for getting a ring size; "so you can just go somewhere else and buy a ring." Even if this was the case, surely this 2 second favor would be reasonable service in the otherwise Belmont community. Times are tough, but this attitude doesn't belong in Belmont. I was looking to spend a lot of money in the store. In the words of pretty woman, "big mistake, huge mistake."

Top notch! Great service and excellent pricing. Doug is an absolute professional and pleasure to do business with. I wish I started doing business with him years ago. Now I know who will be my go to jeweler. Either purchase or repair Marcou Jewelers of Belmont is my new spot!
