“Lots of super interesting things. The clothes do move very slowly but if you’re not going frequently it’s fine. The prices (at least for casual clothing and jewelry) are great.”

“BASEC@Burbank is fantastic. Its staff are caring, dependable, and student-centered. Kids get time to play and be social after school, including with friends who are not in their own classrooms. There are lots of activities (sports, art, drama, STEM, a popular winter Olympics, etc.) in addition to guided time for homework and reading. All three of our kids have had a blast and developed lasting friendships there.”

“SWEET DEALS: Closet-size jewel of a Second Hand clothing store run by a human service agency whose members are people with I/DD. Much of the clothing is nondescript. Hunt for the limited items of past season Diane Von Furstenberg, Burberry, Philip Lim, Carmen Marc Valvo, Madewell, etc. Often these pieces are size 0-4. Typical price range is $3-5 (cash is preferred). I hate sharing this secret but it's a great place that deserves more traffic. The adjacent store is Gifts at Peppermint Place which has a random assortment of gifts.”

“We get to know this wonderful school by attending their storytelling concert at library. I'm impressed by the professional performance, so I register my kid for the Music pups class. Both of us love this class a lot. The teacher Jennifer is awesome. She's very passionate and knows how to engage everyone in the class. Both of my kid and I enjoyed sing and dance with her in the class. It helped us build a good memory that will last a long time. And I also learned some music that I could sing to my child in the future. I highly recommend this class to anyone that have babies / toddlers.”
