I give a 4… mostly because of the organic choices are not in good quantity and quality.
Plus - ALERT - : Natures Promise is supposedly ORGANIC… if you now look at the Natures Promise chicken… & it doesn’t say organic, you ARE NOT GETTING WHAT THEY USED TO ADVERTISE - always organic/Non-GMO, etc
As if Natures Promise HOOKED YOU & you are ASSUMING your getting the same food….

Not only do you have to ring yourself out but they limit the cash back you can get to 50 dollars. What in the entire world can you get for 50 dollars now a days. Last time I'll come here.

I love Stop & Shop for its fresh products in every department. They also have great sales. They sometimes sell ground beef, then give all the fixings for tacos, FREE. They do it with other items too. Like corned beef with free cabbage, potatoes and carrots. They have sales on canned beans, $.50 each. The Grillos pickles in the deli are phenomenal!!! But be careful, because there are hot ones as well. Produce is my favorite department. They have both organic and non-organic fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, plenty of salad choices and some very good specialty dressings. My second favorite department is the bread and baked goods. I like to buy a great artisan loaf, Boars Head roast beef, Boars Head Chipotle gourmaise spread, and either provolone or swiss, i used to make 2 meals out of it, but i eat far less so it would make about 4-8 meals now, depending on the size of the bread. Also, if you go in the morning you'll smell cookies baking, and rotisserie chicken cooking. It's a great store. I prefer it because I can find everything i need.

Before COVID it was clean, stocked and organized. After COVID, they moved all the middle aisles around to where nothing makes logical sense. Almost every customer smells like marijuana and the staff couldn't look anymore non enthusiastic. This is not to reflect Stop & Shop as a whole. Most of the stores I have been to in the last 40 years are up to date, clean and organized. I think this store needs better management. 5/19/2024.

While at the Bellingham store,my order was delivered to my car by a young lady who was training. Great job she did!!
I asked if there was a way I could request no bags. She was unsure ,but would find out. Hopefully I can find a way. The bags are not very sturdy and at .10 per bag I rather not buy them.
However I do really like the curbside everyone is so pleasant!!

This store is trash. I’ve never been happy with it and I never will be. It’s the only place close to me so I keep having to come back. I bought this yogurt on 04/24/24. And it’s already expired. It’s my fault for not checking . But I’m let down every time I come here . Every time . I had a maggot in my Bok choy one time. I had a fly in lettuce. And everything is marked up!! $2 or more than I would pay literally anywhere else. And this place has the worst quality products.

Nothing like having 12 registers and only 2 open while I watched 5 employees just watching videos and fb on their phones standing there doing nothing. How about you put your employees to work instead of forcing your customers to do their job! And paper bags are trash and you charge me for them? Save the environment? By you switching to paper? Poor trees.
