This course was in amazing shape when I played it recently. No leaves on the greens

Love this course. Very tight so it’s all about placement. Good driving iron course. There’s one hole with a tree in the middle of the fairway that I truly hate but it has a great putting green and driving range. All around 8-10

$100 for a course that’s closing at the end of the season. I’m sure you can guess how much of that they’re putting back into it.

Love the course, help build it, and still work there sometimes in the summer.

Course is in good condition (09/2023), including the greens and fairways. Friendly staff including pro shop, beverage cart, and bar. Electric carts are great, ample parking, and a great practice green.

Course was in great shape but our round was ruined by an overzealous Ranger. We played a scramble behind a walking group and were constantly harassed by the Ranger who seemed to think it was OK to hit into them and then skip a hole when they finished their 9. $95 for 17 holes and no apology. Nice

Very poorly run always a back up and waiting between shots. Carts start to die out in the middle of a round all while they charge top dollar. 18 holes with a cart shouldn't be more than 60 bucks here that is if you have 6hrs to spend on a round of golf. Long story short not worth it look elsewhere far better course in the area for the price they charge

2023 update: just dropping a star for conditions. it’s still a good, fun course worth playing. but for the $$$ there’s a lot of bare spots and inconsistency in the rough, some in the fairways. boxes and greens in good order though.original: nice course that they’re clearly putting a lot of work into. i think some of the older reviews about conditions should probably be taken lightly. all fairways, tee boxes, traps, and greens were in great shape. layout is a little strange with a lot of blind shots, but never boring. manageable course from white tees, but tips (gold) actually seem truly tough. friendly staff. small clubhouse. rates seem high ($95 saturday w cart), but given that this is MA and everything costs 50% more here than it does everywhere else in the country (including their overhead), makes sense. maybe throw in a bucket of range balls or gps on the carts for those bucks. can’t comment on pace, as we played early when course was fairly clear and zoomed through in 3.5.

A pretty good place to play golf all in all. It's _very_ walkable for a start, and there is a bit of hole variety going on here. It's in pretty good shape despite the recent lack of rain, and the greens roll true. The par threes can be bears depending on the tee you choose. Keep that in mind as your lining up your 210 yarder that has to clear the traps short, but not end up in the woods long. In fact, a lot of this course feels kind of tight. And that's because it is. Places like Juniper Hills use tree placement to fool you. Not this place. That fairway is really only as wide as you can see. Mostly. And there are a couple of holes that can only be described as klunky. The one with a waste area 240 yards out and 290 to clear, I thought, was a little silly. Kind of a "Ok, two shots it is then!" thing. And there are some dog legs where the big dog most definitely will not eat, 18 for instance, if you're longer than, say, 240 on the roll. But klunky is the exception. Even with the klunk the variety is very high. And you'll get a chance to swing every club you have. The marks in the minus column would be one that plagues courses everywhere and you're to blame. (Maybe not you specifically, but those of our ilk at least.) And that's ball marks on the green and divot holes in the fairway. I know landing on the green is a thrill that you'll be talking about all day, (far away from me hopefully). Don't you want to end your story the right way? Something like, "..then I fixed my ball mark" or "...then I put the foot long beaver pelt back where it was before I hit that shot so fat I give fat a bad name." You'll be a hero to those in the know.

This place is great, and that’s not even talking about how good shape the course in! I made a mistake with booking a tee time and they were able to make things work for us. Great people, great course! Highly recommend for any type of golfers

Nice course but it is a lot of target golf.. That can slow up a round. I suggest getting out early to avoid to avoid slow play.. The greens we greens were slow but in great shape and rolled true.

agree with Rocco on the heavy hovering of rangers while they are allowing a foursome to walk on a busy saturday.... not the worst part thoughmgmt charged almost full price for recently aerated greens and blamed their booking partner, GolfNow, for the error. happily collected extra fees from us with a smile and too much pride in their well rehearsed speech. at least have the holes filled if you're going to claim "10 days ago"....greens were awful to say the least, shouldn't nickel and dime the customer... would've left if we weren't ready for a round on a decent day. won't be rushing back.edit: replying to response from owner belowdear owner, you should have honored the prices regardless of who made the mistake (which you happily blamed a widely used golf bookings app). golf courses have been packed during the pandemic so don't tell me you couldn't have "swung it". asking me to call and "resolve it" is crazy... just honor the discounted prices when you know your greens were aerated. plenty of public courses around the area. good luck :)

Surprisingly nice conditions during the middle of an extreme drought. Greens and fairways in fine shape under Greens Supt and his crew that deserve praise compared to conditions several years ago. Will definitely return.
