I love my nails

UPDATE : There’s a reason why they have a 2.5 star rating on Yelp. The people that work there are very rude and unprofessional. I returned to the salon because the owner replied and said he wanted proof. I showed him where I was cut and he flat out said I was lying and to leave the premise. My cousin and I recorded the whole experience. He said that because I had no witnesses and I did not provide picture of a bleeding finger immediately after it happened, that I was lying. How am I supposed to whip my phone out and start recording when you have both my hands and then stuck them in acetone? Accidents happen and I wasn’t about to become irate over something that cost $15. However, I am appalled at the attitude they have towards their customers. Save your money, time, and fingers and look elsewhere because this place is absolutely horrible. Just look at their responses to other people’s ratings.Original Post:I went there as a walk-in to remove a dip powder set with extensions. The lady that serviced me first just quickly grabbed my hand and started using the drill to remove the top coat. She was doing it so fast that she cut my left thumb and it started to bleed. I told her she cut me; which, she denied at first. I was adamant and showed her where my thumb was bleeding. She then mumbled a pathetic sorry and proceeded to stick my hand in acetone. She then got up to service someone else. A man came and finished removing the rest of the set. He also rushed through the process with no care, but at least he didn’t cut me. The whole experience was pathetic. They didn’t want to be there and neither did I. If my original salon wasn’t fully booked and I wasn’t desperate to remove the nail set, then I wouldn’t even bother looking at this place. But, that’s what I get for paying $15.Service: Synthetic nail removal

If I could rate this nail salon a -0 I would. My daughter called prior to schedule an appointment for a mani / pedi. The tech asked me to chose a color. I finished my selection & he drew the water for the pedicure and instructed me to soak my feet . He then told me I could try the colors on my hand to decide on which color looked best. Another woman came in and he then told me I came in late and I would have to wait until he was finished since I “was late”. I have no idea what he was talking about. I told him I have never been treated like this in a nail salon before & said I would write a bad review. He escorted me out of the salon and told me I could not take a picture of the salon’s name.

I am horrified by my experience today. The nail tech made my toe bleed while exfoliating, and then blamed me for it happening. He was rude and unapologetic, I have never been treated so poorly. I will never return.

Well, second time trying this salon. Is the first place that my nail polish come out at the second day. Too much money for that, I did friday night and sunday starting coming out the polish and they do so far from the cuticule that today monday looks like I did my nails 2 weeks ago. What a waste of monday. They need to get better because last time happened the same thing.

Love United Nails. I go every 2 weeks for a collagen spa pedicure, and I always leave feeling wonderful. I have also had gel manicures, acrylic nails and some nail art done. Highly recommend.Services: Pedicures

This was my first time with my MIL and we wanted to give this place a chance. First off, the service was mediocre. Multiple times, the guy who was there would say something is extra when it was just to fix the thickness of the line created when you do french or something. Second, My powder dipped initially were fine but a week later, four of them have already come off. And lastly, the reason why my stars are only 2 is that even after booking for a mani and Pedi, once they did our manis they said they could no longer do our pedis and gave us reasons like they're scared (made me bleed maybe thats why) and that they didnt have staff when it was just us two as customers and one other person who they seemed to know plus two staff. Im not sure what we did and if we scared them in any way, I apologize, but for the $45 price for a dip mani this was not worth it. Needless to say, we still tipped and thanked them and left. Unfortunately, we will not return.

Very bad service , got regular manicure and the color came off after the next day . I went to a wedding and dint do any house chores . These guys are scams . They giggle in Chinese when any Customet come . I gave 20% tip but all money went in drain . Try other Bedford nails spa .This business is not fair n you will waste your money .Service: Manicures

As far as nail service absolutely loved it! had a few questions about nails that I had tips put on at a previous place. As for waxing .... ZERO stars. I asked for a lower leg wax and the person used a wooden spatula the size of what you would use for your eyebrows-- to do my legs. She seemed like she was getting frustrated so I asked her if she had larger sticks and she said that they were out ( I actually should've left because she was double dipping the sticks and I'm the first to admit I did not go to aesthetician school but I know you do not double dip ) . My 5:15pm nail appointment turned into me leaving at 7 PM when they were closing. I kept telling her that there was stubble on my legs and she proceeded to tweeze those hairs which seemed like it was 50% of my legs. She then rubbed alcohol all over my legs to get rid of the wax residue

I made an appointment on the phone saying I wanted acrylic gel nails and when I walked in they said what I wanted and I said the same thing gel, then I picked a color and he started doing my nails and he was doing dip powder idk why because I didn’t ask for dip. I told him to redo them 3 times because I’m not paying for something I didn’t ask for then he yells at me and says to get out and leave and that they don’t do acrylics even tho I was their a month ago and got them. I got out of the chair about to leave then he switched up and said he could take them off and pick a new color. He redoes them then I go to pay and I ended up paying 75 dollars when last time when I got the same thing I paid 45.Service: Acrylic nails

Had a manicure and pedicure yesterday. The nail tech was very nice and did a good job. When I was ready to check out I handed the owner a gift certificate from 2 years ago(I have several from my son-in-law)for $45. He said he couldn’t accept it because he wasn’t the owner then. I replied that the name on the door and the actual gift certificate had the same name. It was signed and had the amount written on it. I told him there’s no expiration date on gift cards. Back and forth…he wanted me to pay. He threatened to call the police on me…which I told him was fine and we could explain things. He didn’t call and then yelled at me to get out and never come back!!Services: Manicure
