“This was the cutest and best bookstore in Concord. The staff were incredibly helpful, even beyond finding books, and gave us a free map of the area along with some recommendations for where to go in town! There are modern, used editions of all sorts of texts as well as some rare and even first editions or many books from authors from the area. The children’s section was particularly good. Loved it!!”

“A friend recommended this book shop to me and I'm so glad she did. The atmosphere here is incredible. I love the tall wooden shelves. I have found poetry, creative nonfiction, short stories, manga, LGBTQ+ stories, scifi, and much more. The gently used books are in great shape. They take book donations in exchange for store credit, which is awesome. The staff are helpful and chatty. This is my go-to place when I'm getting gifts for people. Look at this cool wolf book I got a bit ago!”

“I am a local Concord resident and real estate agent and I love to read about local Concord history. You cannot find many of the works that The Concord Bookshop offers at the big box bookstores. Additionally, it is worth an extra dollar or two for local expertise and to have a knowledgeable person engage with you when you ask a question. As a service professional, I really put emphasis on great service because it adds tremendously to our quality of life!”

“After a walk around the pond 1.7 miles I get to stop in to the Society Shop at Walden and get a cold drink, browse thru the books and spend a few minutes with the folks behind the counter. A great place, very warm people. Thanks for being there!”

“Book store in Lexington Center. Wide variety of books including children’s books. After you grab a latte down the street, you can drop by here and flip through some actual physical pages just like the old days.”

“The staff here are very nice and super helpful! I was looking for a air fryer cookbook for my roommate and two of the staff helped me search through their cooking section for it. When we couldn’t find it, they looked on the computer and even went to the back room to find a copy for me. 10/10 customer service :)”

“Helpful staff will point you to the section you want, but don't necessarily expect the particular book you seek. It's not a new book store; it's a used book store, so they're limited to what comes in. That said, they have a terrific, wide selection.”

“The staff was flexible and able to accommodate my requests. They were able to check the supply closets to assist me in finding what I was looking for. However, the products, specifically the t-shirts, were rather expensive as compared to the other institutions I have visited.”

“Cute bookstore. Stopped in while on a work trip to the area. The book store itself is rather small but they have hundreds of books cataloged in the back so all you have to do is have them look it up for you. They also have local seasoning, crafts, and more displayed around the shop for purchase. I was able to get the book I was looking for along with some Zatar seasoning. It was a win win for me. Would definitely come back to find a new book or just to see what they have that's new. Part of the proceeds also go to a worthy cause of youth education and literacy so that makes it even better. Will definitely return!”

“I love going to the Audubon shop, there is so much to choose from. In my complex, we have quite a few young families; the children's section covers all a ages, and the sooner you get a youngster into nature the better for all of us. The staff is amazing, and are more than willing to aid you in some specific situations. The trails are easy, even for a geezer like me. Take your time, listen, look, feel the nature that surrounds you. Take pictures, leave with memories and if you see trash, pick it up. Above all, enjoy!”
