Did not deliver priority mail, causing a missed immigration appointment. The desk denied having the later on December 28th and again on January 21st. Asked for the manager, the manager denied there being any mail. Told the manager it was from immigration and very important. The manager came back with it instantly. They had delivered all other mail but the immigration letter. Filed a complaint with the post office and it never went any where.

I actually regret living in Hyannis because I have to occasionally go to this post office when there’s a mail issue, otherwise I happily use Barnstable or Centerville.

Tagged along with my sister, who was renewing her passport at this USPS location in the heart of Hyannis, & dropped off a handful of last minute greeting cards myself. A spacious lobby area used mainly for post office box rentals, with unfortunately no sign of a self service machine, but the people behind the counter looked like they were moving fast enough to accommodate the small crowd of waiting customers. There's no private lot, so you're competing for one odlf the coveted parking spaces on Main Street.

I went there to renew my passport, and I haven’t done it for a while and it’s my first time doing it alone and as an adult. I’m 18 which should mean I can renew my stuff alone, long story short. They let me book an appointment in person with all my info and they said the only requirements needed were my old passport and my application papers. When I came the day of appointment they said, I needed my mother to sign something, who don’t live with me, and is on another country, I asked “even though I’m 18” man looked me in the eye said yes. Don’t make sense. I could go to grown jails but can’t do my passport by myself?(some background I don’t live in Barnstable which means I got to waist money and time for the two times I went to appoint and the appointment)

Sometimes the people can be very nice and very helpful. At other times the rudeness and lack of consideration can leave you speechless. I'd truly be on the street if I treated clients like that at my place of employment.
