1 star because I always find expired foods from bread, garlic bread and yesterday I picked up Kraft sliced cheese and saw that it expired on June 4 2024. I was blown away; expired 5 weeks ago. I gave it to the guy working in the shampoo aisle because I couldn’t find the manager. Please don’t buy any products especially the ones on the shelves without checking the expiration dates.

This store would flat out get a 5 because we love their organic line and you can usually get healthy foods at great prices BUT...
can you PLEASE turn down the awful "music" you blast at your customers?
We find ourselves going to Star Market or Shaw's for that reason alone. It is WAY too loud and obnoxious.

Thank you and Shout out to Patrick at customer service- you persisted in getting me the information I needed. I had bought a 75$ home depot gift card at stop and shop, home depot wouldn't honor it, even a manager at home depot said it looked like something I probably bought online. I had misplaced the receipt.i went back to stop and shop where I purchased it and I asked a customer service rep at stop and shop to help me find out if there was anything on the card and she said it was not possible. I asked if anyone else there may be tech oriented and maybe find out differently. She said no many times. In comes Patrick, he knows exactly what to do, and shows me the card is activated and has 75$ on it. As a business owner, my suggestion to stop and shop: when you have bright and persistent staff like Patrick, it's a good idea to promote him or give him a raise, because employees like this don't come by often.

Over priced compared to other markets on top of that you have to pay for bags. News say's CEO still keeps prices high even though inflation went down. Giving it a two star due to convenience of locations but if you have a choice go somewhere else to save 100s on your weekly shopping.

Haven't been here for awhile, but it seems a lot smaller than it used to. Selection was limited as to brands/sizes and there were many empty displays. Pet department seemed well stocked and overall I got what I needed. To be fair, I was shopping early Monday morning after Easter, so regular stocking may not have been done by the time I got there. Got a couple of good buys, but overall it seemed expensive. My checkout clerk was pleasant and efficient.

It is a disgace that you charge .10 for paper bags. you take away plastic because it bad for the environment then give people one option and charge them for it. by the way you can go to bjs,Shaws and Roche Bros fee of charge

The Hyannis store has a large selection of products when compared to a few other Stop and Shop stores in the area. Their prices are expensive and I usually only shop the sales. You can find better at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods.
Their deli has some good wings and even empanadas.

Every time I go to the deli, the workers NEVER change their gloves. Today was the last time I will go there - the man was cleaning the slicer with cleaning spray and kept the same gloves on to cut the turkey. Needless to say, we won’t be eating that turkey. It’s cheaper and less processed at Whole Foods anyway.
