Excellent customer service, good selection, and they can order anything not in the store. This is where I go if I need some help with a small home repair. They will share their expertise and spend as much time with you selecting the right 30 cent fastener as they would for a larger purchase. I would especially like to compliment Tess for her patience - she went above and beyond to help me find a part for a fan.

I love this store. They have a good selection of hardware store things as well as unique family games, toys, pool stuff, etc. And the people are always friendly and helpful.

One of a series of interconnected shops on Osterville's main drag, the focus here is hardware, paint, & other items for the home. I went in casually browsing, only to leave with enough paint to take care of painting my parents' basement while I was home visiting a couple of weeks ago. Some vacation, huh? Anyway, they were very helpful here.

OHG's paint manager made an excellent, knowledgable recommendation for a tricky outdoor metal bulkhead project. Cheaper, ill-advised paint would have been awful. Instead, I have a beautiful and durable painted structure (blending in with the siding perfectly) that still looks fresh after 3 years in New England weather! Knowledge + superior products = time and money well spent. Bravo OHG!

This is the best “ hardware “ store I have ever come across. It’s a lot more than that but I have to call it something! I have purchased everything from birthday gifts to p*** bags and everything in between. The staff is warm, knowledgeable and extraordinary in terms of helping the customer get what they need. I was looking for a do-dad they didn’t have and they located it for me at a big box mess. THAT made me appreciate OHG all the more. Thank you for being the best!

My favorite hardware store (and then some)! Megan, James and the rest of the crew are the best! I am always greeted with friendly, smiling faces that are more than willing to help with any of my needs, from key copies, to paint, to outdoor rugs, to their funny kids masks! Make sure you stop in and check them out next time you are in the village, and their new place right next door Osterville Mercantile.
