until recently, customer service was adequate. communication was always an issue. seems to me, as the customer, I shouldn't be the one following up. Big changes in the last year. worst customer service of any local Cape vendor I deal with. I have no idea what is going on within their business, but it is not good. I have personally cancelled all of my existing orders and will never step foot in there again.

Bought my son a pair of football cleats last minute, got all the way home (45 min away) and realized the cleats were both left foot. I called Butlers, it must have been a manufactuers error... they stayed open for me to immediately return after their store hours, they didn't have the same cleat to exchange, so gave me a better (and more expensive pair) and wouldn't allow me to pay the difference. Butlers has not only excellent quality sporting goods, but excellent quality staff!

My daughter needed baseball gloves for 2 of her 3 boys. Had limited knowledge of what was needed. She received excellent service from Jim the owner and a couple assistants. Turned out to be a great experience for all. They coached her through the process. She walked away feeling very comfortable that her needs were met and never felt she was being sold something more than she needed for an up sell in cost. Highly recommended.

Totally pulled one of those a**hole moments last night, pulling into the parking lot at 6PM. Needed new skates for my PeeWee before a 2-game weekend. The two gentlemen inside welcomed us in, turned the lights back on and got to work squaring our skate issues away. Double-checked the size, showed us a quality pair and made sure they fit. I paid and while we waited the skates were sharpened and advice about gear and hockey in general was shared. Will NOT hesitate to return for hockey gear in the future!

Bought a Lacrosse Goalie head from them online. When the item was sent to me they were selling it in the store for 119 and I paid 149. When I asked them to pay me the difference because that’s horrible customer service. I was told no. I wouldn’t recommend shopping here.
