Thus is he way a lumber yard should be run. No need for a "Pro Desk". No pushing an overloaded cart around the store and then into a crowded parking lot to load into your truck. Tell the person what you need, get loading ticket, take your truck to the yard, and you and a yard man load up your order. Simple and efficient.

Their prices are competitive the service is very good, people are very knowledgeable. If you are tired of dealing with the nonsense at the big chain Home Improvement stores, go to Moore. Also they have the best selection of fasteners, and odd stuff to fix just about anything. No one else has the same selection

Their tool rental is a joke. I rented the Bobcat mini excavator and used it for the entirety of the rental. I cleared a wooded section of my yard and did some digging. When they picked it up they were all sorts of mad because I scratched the paint on their new excavator.... It's like they didn't expect me to actually use the excavator. It's disappointing that if they own something that they consider to be a show piece that they even rent it out..... I've never encountered anything like this in all my years of renting tractors, etc..... I'll never go there again!!

I was very pleased with my visit here. I had to buy some paint today, and wasn't sure what kind to get for particular reasons. Staff was very nice and the employee helping me choose the right paint, was very knowledgeable and explained why it was best for my needs, and how it differs from other brands. Great salesman! I never caught his name, older gentleman with a friendly disposition. The store was clean and well put together. I needed a couple of other things and had no trouble finding them at all. Masks are required and employees at counters are behind clear partitions. I will return in the future. :)

Do you want the most unsettling shopping experience in the quaint setting of a local hardware store? Look no further than Moore Lumber & Hardware Company's miserable staff behind the counter. Their special blend of arrogance and unwholesome attitudes has been curating since before the pandemic. They're sure to leave you with that feeling like you're not welcome. Don't fret, fellow retail shopper, it's not just you they don't like; they have disdain for anyone who isn't a contractor. Take your business a little further down the street to the Aubochon. You know, the one. It's the actual local hardware store that wants your business. I'm all about local businesses, I will not give money to Amazon or big box stores. But I'd rather buy my overpriced lumber from Lowes or Home Depot before I shop here again.
