“This is my second time in the soapy spot. I LOVE it here! The owner Kevin is super kind , welcoming and helpful. The shop has great options for healthy dog treats. The bath for the dogs is amazing ! I brought my Pyr mix and border collie mix in and they smell awesome after a good cleaning. I will be back again and again with Willow and birch. Great prices , clean location and totally worth not washing the towels and cleaning the tub at home.”
“Love this store! Colleen and Brittany go out of their way to help me every week. I come here to shop on behalf of a food pantry so I buy a large quantity of wet and dry dog and cat food every time I come. They help me get the best deals to make our limited budget stretch far (our clients love the PSP store brand, which is the best pricing!) Colleen helps me fill my cart, Brittany organizes everything for me at the counter and they both help me load my cart back up, and then Colleen always helps fill my car. They always remind me to put in my phone number and earn rewards - and those add up!! The store is always clean and organized and easy to navigate. I always have a great experience shopping here on the weekends, when other stores are usually so busy and the staff can't make time for anyone. Here, you feel like you're the only customer in the store every time you ask for assistance. Colleen and Brittany work so hard to keep this place running well!”
“I visited last week when everyone was having internet issues, but the staff who was there that day was super helpful and friendly, chatted with us, and my partner and I had a great time spending $$ on our little pup on a huge assortment of treats. I was really impressed with the selection and WIDE ARRAY of options. The no-hides are awesome, happy to finally have a safe option to give my dog. The merchandising, displays, and colors, etc were all very well done. Great space!! I buy my dog only polkadog treats these days, and was happy the in-person shopping experience was just as fun. Absolutely visit if you can! Great prices too”
“Friendly staff. Always willing to help with any questions. Decent variety of small animal foods and supplies. I needed young rabbit food for a foster and was happy to find they stocked it. Sometimes toys are in limited supply especially when there is a sale. One of my favorite stores to shop in for small animals.”

“On our way to Quincy we stopped by this pet store. I have never seen a small local store take care of their animals they were here. Everything was clean fresh fresh vegetables in water, and all the animals seems really happy. Also the workers there are very humble and pleasant. For local small businesses I hope this place thrives and its worth stopping in for sure. I was quite taken back.”
“I can not say enough good things about Paws in Play!! I've been taking my pup here for 7 years now and she absolutely loves it. Whether it's for a day of daycare or boarding, I know that she is well taken care of. Jess and Dave do a great job running this place and keeping things safe for all the dogs that walk through their door. They love each dog like they were their own!! The facebook page and snapchat accounts post pictures and videos of all the dogs having a great time whether its inside or out in the yards. I could not ask for a better place or better people to leave my little girl with while i'm at work or away.”

“Let me start by saying this is a five star review unless you have a fish. Hello, welcome to my review of the Popped Pouch. You will think this should be a one star review if you only had a fish, but you will not think it is a one star EXPERIENCE. It's a four Star experience plus one star if you have a cat or dog. This brings it to the fifth star. The P*** Porch has everything you'd dream of if you have dogful/catful fishless inside living. It's small but packed with canine and feline marineless necessities. Cool treats and quirky fun toys for pets as long as they are cats or dogs. They have one employee and sometimes that employee changes but the previous one comes back the next day and the newer one leaves until the first one is done with Jury Duty or whatever. They don't sell any fish food, or it might be in the back or something, just ask the employee if it's the first guy, he might say "no" though. I'm sure he says it in a nice way with a little animal pun joke.”

“My Rottweiler has a spinal injury. I can get him into the tub, and they have a ramp if you need it. The equipment is excellent. I wish my hairdryer was as strong! I like that you get a kit with a towel, a rubber curry comb, a metal comb, and a soft brush. The place is clean. The people are super!! It’s a great business!”
“I normally don’t write reviews but these are the sweetest people ever, they chatted with me about my dog and helped me pick the perfect treats for him and even gave me little treats as a freebie for my dogs birthday because they noticed I was buying a birthday bone :)) best treat store especially since they know everything that’s in every treat. “The Vetco in Quincy Center has been a very pleasant surprise. The online scheduling process is very easy. The reminder texts are well thought out so that most of the administration is completed before you step in the front door. Once you arrive, the staff and vets are organized and make for a very smooth experience. All the prices are listed on the website, the packages make sense and are easy to understand. All the receipts and records are emailed to you a few mins after the appointment.Dealing with the local vets in Dorchester and Southie has been a nightmare. They don't list any prices and the prices vary widely for offices within a half or quarter mile of each other. When they do tell you the price, it feels like negotiating with a car dealership. Some vets try to charge additional exam fees, some just gouge new customers. It was especially weird having to ask one vet for a hard copy of the vaccination records so that I'd have a copy. It's the first thing many doggie daycares and groomers ask for and the vet made it seem like my request was out of the ordinary.Feel free to do your own research, but you'll just learn to appreciate how friendly and transparent this Vetco is. We've been back twice and plan to keep coming back. The prices make sense and the experience is excellent. Getting your pet vaccinated should be an easy, quick and straight forward process like this.”
