On rainy days, they would always secure packages that don't fit in our mailbox in a plastic bag. I live in Cambridge but prefer to go to this branch for the friendlier and easier overall experience. There’s generally available 15 minute street parking right in front of the building if you go in the morning.”

If you collect stamps, they usually have a good selection in stock. Take a look at the 1941 "WPA" mural, vintage PO boxes, etc.”

I went to send a mail in the afternoon on Friday March 11th, and the guy in the window was so polite, nice and efficient. “This post office is great. The people are friendly, our mailman gives our dog biscuits and plays ball with her, and I have never had any problem with the service. They hold our mail when we're away, and always get it right. Our mailman even took the "away" slip for us once because we were late getting it in. All around a nice group of professional people.”

I've dealt with two different gentlemen, one of them I met today, his name is Gerry. He's the postmaster along with doing other roles at the same time. He went above and beyond to help me out. Was extremely friendly and even took the time to have a conversation with me. He is a true professional in customer service. His kindness and politeness put my faith back in the working world. “This is a great little PO hiding out in Nonantum, it is only open Monday - Friday BUT it does open at 7:30 so you can do whatever you need early. It is small, but really efficient so you can get in-and-out. I have brought in several packages over the last few months, Tina has been at the counter each time and is really friendly.”

I wish USPS would invest and probably spruce up the place, similar to newer facilities I see in other areas of the country. This would probably make the space more inviting for staff and customers.Overall, I use USPS more than the other services. Prices in most cases are better and get to well traveled locations relatively quickly.”
