THIEVES!!! I have never dealt with a bank that if your account goes negative in your checking and you have money in your savings account to cover but they still hit you with an overdraft fee automatically that same business day! In the last 6 months I already have gone through 2 debit cards due to possible fradualnt activity. That's the exact reason why I don't keep much money in my checking account . Then twice there were fraudulent activity on my debit card and my card had to be canceled over a weekend with no access to my money because there isn't any customer service on the weekends! When I asked for the overdraft fees to be removed I was told they can only do a one time courtesy every 6 months! Yeah, great customer service!! Keep taking my money , I guess you people need it more then I do! Will be taking my money to another bank!!

car loan I applied for a auto loan. I have the highest credit score. I paid off my previous car loan two years early with DCU. I went to DCU fo pre approval for a new auto loan and in 20 minutes was pre approve. Southbridge Credit Union advertised a rate of 4% which was one percentage point below DCU. So I applied for an auto loan and it took One week to hear from them. My loan application was rejected. I asked if I could provide more information and I provided additional income tax records and was still rejected. I went to the car dealership and go pre approval from Chase Band in 10 minutes. The 4% loan may have been just an advertisement scheme???Don't waste your time with Southbridge Credit Union. Go yo DCU. Bob

was looking for a car loan. i had used SCU a few years ago for a auto loan and i had a good experience so i thought i would contact them again. at first when i called, i received service that wasn't so good. fortunately, i called back and i was able to speak with Candy at the Hobbs Brook Branch. she was fantastic - patient, knowledgeable and thorough. she gave me plenty of time to get my loan processed and accounts set up. i was able to close in a couple of days. really enjoyed my experience

This bank charges $30-$35 overdraft fees for pending transactions without actually paying the transaction. So nothing was ever actually over-drafted. Your balance just gets lower and lower. Without contacting you. So if you are. 50 cents off from a pending bill, they will charge you $35 dollars one day, and then $30 the next day without paying the bill or letting you know. So you're $100 bill ends up about $170 because you have to pay your bank back.

MSR was literally texting before he even looked up at me in line. He constantly was looking at his phone throughout our conversation and never followed through with my dispute paperwork, or gave me the information I needed to try complete it myself. I know it doesn't mean much anymore because customers are just a number, but my accounts will be closed and I will not be recommending this credit union.
