I cancel my home insurance policy approximately three weeks prior to my renewal.
NGM still made a withdrawal even when they no longer insured my home.
I am still waiting going on fifteen days for my refund.
Will never do business with them again.

Warning! Do not use this company, please shop around! There rates are insane! Customer service is a nightmare! Example a recent switch to a new Geico from NGM turned into a nightmare. We could of fought this but wanted away from this company. So we were officially switched to geico correct forms sent , but they still wanted a prorated fee. Now legally you cannot hold two car insurances for one vehicle but they claimed they didn't get the paperwork in time, now that was a out right lie! Instead of returning my 10 phone calls to explain this they just went and sent the collection to a lawyer! Absolutely unbelievable considering if they have done their job and just communicated with us about the issues it could of been resolved. I have zero clue why anyone would get insurance with them, they have zero website that.a customer can use , no new technology come on its 2021 get a appto upload documents, everything is agent based and good luck getting one. Please reserch other insurance companies,.I have zero clue how they even still have clients in this competitive market my word even The General Insurance is better!

Reception is really nice and great. But the person handling my claim took weeks, never notified me about updates, went on two week long vacations and ultimately I just circumvented her altogether talking to three receptionists and different members in her team.

Honestly I am not sure why most of these reviews are so negative. Probably some bad feelings mixed up with having been in an accident or something.I was in an accident recently and everyone I spoke with was very helpful, and they did their job to the fullest. I am quite satisfied staying with them.

They are really messed up company and they don’t know nothing about anything I have an accident so they insured somebody but they never contacted me but they remember to contact me after 10 days from the accident and they said oh we can’t understand you you have heavy accents and I just and the call and I told them to talk to my attorney He speak real English and the case is open will see.

If I could give Zero Stars I would fill that in the box. This is the worst insurance company I have ever encountered. After I was persuaded to sign up due to their low rates, they contacted me after I had signed up to inform me that due to a list of reasons, they needed to raise my rates. They did this two times and afterwards, my insurance payments were outrageous. I also received letters saying that I needed to pay bills or else my coverage would be terminated. So I promptly went online to make my payments. I learned afterwards that these payments were not necessary and they had sent me a termination letter by mistake. Then when I asked for my refund, it took weeks to get my money back. When you call to get a refund, it is handled through a 3rd party collection agency. You do not even get to speak directly to a customer service representative. Do not sign up with this insurance company for any reason. Soon after this happened, I picked up the phone and switched insurance companies. Also, NGM Insurance Co. and Main Street America Group are the same company. They are one and th I repeat do not sign up with this insurance company. They are the worst.

I would give a 0 star rating if I could. My parked and unoccupied vehicle was hit by your insured 4 weeks ago. The claim was immediately reported by me. My car is still damaged and I have no resolution from your company. The last excuse I was given is that your insured was still working to get in touch with the driver that hit my vehicle. It is ludicrous that you are claiming that after 4 WEEKS they are still unable to get in touch with the driver. After this experience, I would never do business with your company.
