Cashier double charged me I believe on purpose. My transaction went through I thought and he ran after me telling me It didn’t. I looked at my card and the transaction was pending. I showed him and he said it didn’t go through so I paid again and saved my receipt until both charges went through. Came back the next day and the “boss wasn’t there” so he “couldnt” refund me. He asked me to come back the next day when he was there after having his boss on the phone. I swing by the next day and his boss wasn’t there— he called the boss and was able to refund me.So normally, I would not think anything of it, however, my husband went back a few weeks later and the same guy double scanned an item. My husband said he double scanned it (no way a 4pk of beer and 1 nip was $30). The guy looked at him and straight up said, “no I didn’t do that.” My husband deadpanned and said, “yes you did.” Then the guy apologized only after realizing my husband was going to leave.I think there is something fishy going on… it seemed intentional both times.

The store name is "Mass Discount Liquors" but nothing is discounted. A 12 pack of beer, which normally costs $9.99 everywhere else, charges $14.99 here. It is false advertising to call it "Mass Discount Liquors". The only reason I think they're still open is because it's on a busy street and when people go in there they think they're getting a good price for what they're getting (that's the only reason I went in there, never again).
