Really wanted to purchase a car here because they have a great selection but the one rule i was given as a newbie used car buyer is finance through a credit union not through the dealers. But then Brendon from finance hit me with we ONLY allow in house financing. Such a bogus claim and a very shady business practice. Maybe if I'm absolutely desperate I'll come back (hopefully not)

Be careful when you repair your car in Hyundai Auburn. They charged the diagnosis fee no matter what you fix your car there or not. Hyundai Framingham doesn't charge the diagnosis fee if you fix your cars there.

Worst dealership on the planet. We leased a car from them and when we turned it in ( in perfect condition ) they damaged it during a snow storm and the inspection wasn't done for ( 3 ) days later and they came back at me for the damage. We liked the car and bought another on from a different dealership, but tried to get service down locally and were told of long wait times due to the fact that we didn't buy the car from them. Now we have a warranty issue and was just told they are booking appointments out ( 6 ) months for people that purchased vehicles elsewhere. This is customer service at it's best. So we call Hyundai Corporate Customer Service and their response is dealerships are independent and they have nothing to do with them. Needless to say, we will never do business with either Herb Chambers or Hyundai again

I recently bought a 2022 Tucson Hybrid Limited with helpful assistance from Jackie and Paul and the car far exceeded my expectations. However, I would not recommend this dealership because they included extended warranty without my consent into amount financed and then did not itemize it in the Purchase Agreement. No dealer should include something you didn't buy in a loan arranged by them. If you had recently purchased a car from here, I urge you to go through your purchase agreement and/or retail installment contract to make sure you didn't inadvertently purchase unwanted extended warranty. When I signed all the paperwork, Finance Manager recommended against purchasing extended warranty as Hyundai's standard 10 yr./100,000-mile warranty already covered most important parts. I left the dealership with what I thought was a purchase agreement, but it turned out to be an Installment Contract that included a $3430 premium extended warranty package in the loan from Hyundai Motor Finance (HMR). Finance Manager cancelled the contract quickly enough, but it turned out it is the warranty provider who would send the refund directly to HMR and it would not reduce your monthly payment. So, if you are considering purchasing a car from this dealer, be sure you obtain purchase agreement and examine any and all paperwork with fine tooth comb before you leave the dealership.

I was sold a used 2016 Toyota RAV4 in November of 2021. At the time I specifically asked about the brakes. The salesman said they replaced the rear pads and that the front brakes were fine. 2,000 miles later, the front brakes started squealing and making a groaning sound. The dealer referred me to Herb Chambers Toyota across the street. They took it immediately and said the front brake pads and rotors were bad. I had to pay $650 to get the car back and Herb Chambers Hyundai will not reimburse me. Buyers beware! Don't trust the dealers sales people. Guess I got a "tail-light" guarantee. As soon as they saw my tail lights, the guarantee ended!

We bought a used 2013 Hyundai Sonata for our daughter (from a different dealership). Was having issues with the check engine light (of course), and after the dealer we bought it from reset it twice, I figured I better bring it to a dealership. As this one was within walking distance from my job, I made an appointment to have them trouble shoot it.Dropped it at 7:00 am and told them I'd like to get it by 3:00 pm. Was told no problem. I hadn't heard anything by noon so I decided to give them a call. Was told that they still hadn't even looked at it yet. Asked if it would be ready by three and was told it would be.I arrived at 3:30, I was told they were just finishing it up in the service advisor told me they had some good news and bad news. The bad news was they needed to replace the fuel pump as that's why the check engine light kept coming on. Good news was it was going to be a warrantee job. I was pretty incredulous because it's a 2013 car and it was going to be covered under warranty. But was assured it would be and I made an appointment to bring it back in.The day before I was going to bring it in, I called to confirm the appointment and also to confirm it would be covered under warranty. They had no idea regarding the job being under warranty. Apparently the gentleman who wrote it up originally was out on maternity leave I would not be back for a while. Was told that someone would get back to me but never did. I called back again, there was still no answer and they told me just bring it in and they would do the job and we would figure out the warranty afterwards. Yeah right! I canceled the appointment.A week later I tried to get in touch with the service manager several times, each time I tried to call the phone rang and rang and rang or I was put on hold for 10 minutes or longer and nobody ever got back to me. Finally reached out to sales, figuring they wanted to make a sale and would pick up I left a message for the service manager to call me told him that I have been trying all day and they said that they would make sure he got the message. Never heard back from them.Still don't know why I was told that I was going to be under warranty, I still don't know why no one ever called me back, and honestly if this is how you treat all your customers, I can see why you're not getting very good reviews.
